KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 I hope you're right but the position players are so disappointing Well they dumped Swisher and Bourn. That's addition by substraction right?
jays76 Verified Member Posted August 11, 2015 Author Posted August 11, 2015 I hope you're right but the position players are so disappointing Cleveland has been brutal lately. They were finally in a position to win a game and had a 3-1 lead over the Angels in the bottom of the 9th a few days back but couldn't even hold that..

CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 I am going to both Friday and Sunday's games. Cannot freaking wait. Last few years the Jays have only had 1 visit to Angel Stadium and this years will by far be the best Nice! You live in Anaheim? How's life down there?
Cam Maxwell Verified Member Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 The Jays can't look too far ahead to the Yankees. They need to focus on the As first.

I think he's using Dickey today now, Buehrle tomorrow vs Gray and then Dickey again on Sunday for the series finale against the Yanks vs Severino. Hutch would start against the Phillies next wk.

Hutch would start against the Phillies next wk. It's been an amazing turn of events for Dickey. Goes from a POS that we want out of the rotation to Cy Young numbers and a man who we want pushed up to face the Yankees in a key game. If Stroman comes back strong the Jays suddenly added three "ace" pitchers in a matter of two months.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 All those f*** off yankees posts and they finally listened. Thank you Girardi and co
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Can you believe this Yankees team was once 7 games up on July 28 after hanging a 21 on the Rangers? They're 4-9 since.. and the August 4th game that huge outburst vs. Boston was the peak.. they've scored only 9 runs since. It's like many of their veterans are breaking down (see Tex, A-Rod).. their average this month is absolutely putrid.
