Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 don't have one favourite...too many good ones. Like zepplin, the doors, rush, pink floyd, etc..... How about you bud? METALLICA!!! cf
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Fangraphs didn't have Cordero ranked in our top 35. Tirado was 17. This seems like a good deal right? #17 and #35 for 2-2.5 WAR Outfielder? it fills a huge defensive hole... it's a good move once all the other moves were made. plugged our last hole.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 so, what's our lineup tomorrow? LF Revere 3B Donaldson RF Bautista DH Encarnacion SS Tulowitzki C Martin 1B Smoak or Collabello CF Pillar 2B Goins
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I wasn't a fan of the Price trade but I'm glad AA has actually committed to going for it, none of that "kinda compete" s*** from last year.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Author Posted July 31, 2015 Phillies sending the Jays cash as well, lol.

dineke Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Well I am a dad, so it fits . Dad rock is the best. Could have just said your favorite music is the classic rock station
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Rosenthal confirming that it's only Tirado and Cordero. Great deal AA.
ColdPint Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 That is simply just not a good trade. Was just doing my best to stir up discontent/paranoia. Of course Pompey wouldn't be traded for Revere when he'll be the more valuable player by next year.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Not bad. I was expecting worse with the Lowe and Revere trades, but pretty much gave up depth pieces. Nice moves to round out the roster.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 LF Revere 3B Donaldson RF Bautista DH Encarnacion SS Tulowitzki C Martin 1B Smoak or Collabello CF Pillar 2B Goins with the offense that we have, I'd choose Smoak over DB or CC every day. Keep Ed at DH to protect him physically and keep CC and DV out of LF. what are Revere's splits?
King Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Is this better? I'm not a troll. I'm just trying to join the forum, have a bit of fun, and talk about baseball and the Jays. I'm not trying to mock anyone. Honestly. You had the similiar name as fellow poster Angrioter
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Phillies sending the Jays cash as well, lol. Oh s*** you are right lol. I wonder how much? Very nice deal.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I call BS. There is no way that is enough.... even Amero isnt that stupid. Thinking the same.
DuckDuckGose Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Cordero can touch 100 but has trouble with secondaries and command Tirado can also throw hard and has trouble with his command Big time durability concerns for Tirado as well, both project as relievers long term.
over500 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Oh s*** you are right lol. I wonder how much? Very nice deal. 6 dollars probably, just like the Tulo trade.
TRM Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Thinking the same. Phillies official twitter confirmed.

CHRIS Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 LF Revere 3B Donaldson RF Bautista DH Encarnacion SS Tulowitzki C Martin 1B Smoak or Collabello CF Pillar 2B Goins I would stick with Tulo, JD and Bautista as the top three. That's got to be just terrifying for opposition pitchers warming up in the first inning.

guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I can't believe we're getting cash back too. Amaro got ninja'd as expected. s*** GM
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Someone just fire Amaro already lol

King Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I know. I've read the forum for a while now, and I just thought it would be funny. Angrioter seems to have a good sense of humor, I like his posts, and he's popular on here. I figured he would appreciate it. Yeah, it was funny. Dont mind o2
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Like it or not, you gotta believe Gibby bats Revere leadoff. he said in an interview yesterday he likes having his best hitters at the top of the lineup for late in the game. Have to think he bats Revere 9th. or 8th with Goins in the lineup.
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Like it or not, you gotta believe Gibby bats Revere leadoff. perfectly fine until Travis is back
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 No issue if gibby puts him leadoff against righties..... LHP Valencia gets the start and bring him in when we knock him out.
Followthelight Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 METALLICA!!! cf LOL I like some metallica as well Saw them in Quebec a few years ago/
Followthelight Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 it fills a huge defensive hole... it's a good move once all the other moves were made. plugged our last hole. Sounds dirty lol.
