Guys who are complaining should just relax. We have no idea what other teams or the Jays even think of Norris at this point. Even though it's shortsighted it's DAVID PRICE!

 

No one is disputing it isn't David Price right now. Every team still needs high end talent in the minors to compliment higher paid players on the big league team. Right now, the Jays gutted a good chunk of high end prospects and don't have the financial resources to just buy every other missing piece in the future. Happy for 2 months, sad for the future, I think that sums up every poster here.

Would have preferred giving this type of package last trade deadline for 1.5 years of Price vs. 2 months. Why didn't the Jays then trade for Price when they were 60-51 at the deadline and were only a game back? Imagine having Price for this entire beginning portion of the season, where would this team be now?

 

He clearly wasn't as desperate then and personally I can't blame him too much. People seem to forget that this is the 3rd year since declaring the team all-in. People who expected him to stand pat clearly had their heads up their asses.
