TRM Verified Member Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Feeling like one of Bautista or Martin will get royally (pun intended) snubbed. They both got in
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 They both got in I wasn't aware this was being aired live, I'm dumn.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Kelvin Herrera over Robertson lol Brad Boxberger over everyone.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Yost talking about how he used statistical analysis to determine his roster, yet he brought Boxberger over Osuna. f***ing idiot.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Brian Dozier will definitely lose the final vote, now he won't get in because Glen f***ing Perkins is representing the Twins.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 How does Dozier not make it over Perkins? weird but the A.L has some damn good second basemen
LunchBox Verified Member Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Brian Dozier will definitely lose the final vote, now he won't get in because Glen f***ing Perkins is representing the Twins. Bruh, he's not even a top-three 2B according to the GDT...
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Sixth straight all star games selection for Bautista is there a longer streak?
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Bruh, he's not even a top-three 2B according to the GDT... maybe you should read my post again.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Sixth straight all star games selection for Bautista is there a longer streak? For a Blue Jay or in general?
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Sixth straight all star games selection for Bautista is there a longer streak? Longest for a Bluejay, not even close in general. Stan the Man was an all-star in every year in his career except 1945 Ichiro was a all-star for every year except 2010, and let's not even start with Jeter.

Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Is there a longer current streak? Miggy is tied with him right now
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Miggy is tied with him right now Thats awesome. Honestly Bautista hasn't received enough accolades here. If it wasn;t for that slow start to his career, he'd be a first ballot Hall of famer.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Brock Holt over Pedroia or Betts is pretty funny. There's 33 guys on the team and he's concerned about "versatility". "The one thing that Kelvin did that a lot of these guys didn't do was pitch in Game 7 of the World Series last year," Yost said. "That was kind of the deciding factor for me." Major league manager everyone
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Just realized Bautista and Donaldson will have to sit next to Machado, O'Day and Jones. Awkward.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Just realized Bautista and Donaldson will have to sit next to Machado, O'Day and Jones. Awkward. If a royal rumble breaks out with those 6 (including Martin) who wins?
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Voted for all 3 and only these 3 Jays for game. They deserve it. But the more our team drifts back to .500 the less I care about this AS Game. And the interest wasn't high to begin with.
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Who gets the start? Scherzer seems like a lock, do you go with Archer, Sale, or Keuchel? All 3 deserve consideration.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Who gets the start? Scherzer seems like a lock, do you go with Archer, Sale, or Keuchel? All 3 deserve consideration. I think the recent strikeout streak should seal it for Sale unless Yost wants to stick it to a division rival.

Yeah, probably Sale though I could see Ol' Neddy going with Keuchel because he's on the best team of the three (by record anyway.) It's the All Star game, we wanna see some whiffs!
CrackerJack Verified Member Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 props to Bautista for opting out.
SAAviour Verified Member Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Pure speculation.... Bautista to DL, 4 days of all star break lessen the games missed, with Pompey getting the call as he didn't play tonight. Gives bautistas shoulder time to rest, and Pompey a 2nd chance with less pressure knowing he's only up until Jose is back no matter what happens.

He opted out of the game to rest his shoulder.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 ESPN: MINNEAPOLIS -- Brian Dozier is an American League All-Star after all. Major League Baseball announced Saturday the Minnesota Twins second baseman was added to the squad by AL manager Ned Yost, replacing Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Jose Bautista. Bautista will skip the All-Star Game to receive treatment on the sore right shoulder he's been playing through for several weeks

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 still can't believe that a fake game decides home field advantage for the world series. Season W/L record should decide and NOTHING else.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
