I do. It was a long shot play. If he were running home, maybe, but not that play. That was clearly a station-to-station type of hit and Martin would have focused everything on 3rd base; it's not like there was other chaos going on around the basepaths to create indecision.

As a runner you're trying to judge where the outfielder is and how hard the grounder is hit in relation to where you are as you round 2nd base. That split second decision making process is much more difficult than the one you as a fan sitting on your ass drinking a beer watching a slow motion replay and there would have been an inning ending double play on the ball EE hit so it didn't matter in the end anyways..
