Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Sal Butera still calling challenge/don't challenge? Looks like another wasted challenge.
Swervin81 Verified Member Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 He's safe. Gibbons, you f***ing moron wasting a challenge on that.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Why are they wasting a challenge here? There's nothing there.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Safe, no idea why they'd waste a challenge on this.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Counterpoint: Bunting in the 5th inning is dumb as s***, so NOT bunting was the correct move, not a blunder. With Ryan Goins batting? What were you expecting other than an out? At least a bunt would have moved the runners up. It's not like it would have been a good hitter bunting. It would be an inferior Johnny Mac bunting. There's a big difference there.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 He's safe. Gibbons, you f***ing moron wasting a challenge on that. Gibbons isn't the one that chooses whether to challenge or not.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 He's safe. Gibbons, you f***ing moron wasting a challenge on that. That's not Gibbons' call (well, technically he's the one that MAKES the decision, but someone else looks at the video and tells him if they should challenge or not.)
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Loup coming in?....losing in 3....2.....1.....
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Oh god why Loup... Are we seriously going back to Loup. Does Gibby want to set the record for most losses by a reliever in a season.
SexyNewForum Verified Member Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Safe, no idea why they'd waste a challenge on this. Worst managed team in the league?
PhillyBlueJay Verified Member Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Well with Loup in Jay will be down 11-9 after 3 pitches. The guy is great with no one on base but with people on base he cannot handle the stress and pressure.
LTR Verified Member Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Loup coming in to blow another one. Great.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Gibbons didn't bunt Goins, and now the tied run is on 3rd base.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 You just knew Orioles would get something going this inning after not bunting last inning.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Don't forget leaving Copeland in for like 8 straight hits and 7 runs OK, so... Blunder 1: Leaving Copeland in too long when everyone in the world knew he was s***. Blunder 2: Ryan Goins not bunting. Blunder 3: Wasting a challenge on an obvious play.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Loup and Cecil lurking. We're f***ed.
LTR Verified Member Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Gibbons didn't bunt Goins, and now the tied run is on 3rd base. ^This
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 4. Bringing Loup in again because blowing one game in this series wasn't enough. Gibbons is f***ing up faster than I can type.
jays76 Verified Member Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 I think Loup gets it done here. He's just like Hutch, always alternating between absolute trash and good outings.

First and second with 0 outs results in 1.4279 runs (2015), second and third with 1 out results in 1.2892 runs (2015) http://www.baseballprospectus.com/sortable/index.php?cid=1819115
