Jays have a bunch of awesome guys in the lineup + Goins. Baltimore has a bunch of Douches.

Baltimore is hitting 98 wRC+ vs lefty pitching in 515 PA this year.

Gausman has a very good SIERA of 3.37 and a SwSt% 9.3. (SSS)

Toronto is killing it with the bats hitting a mlb best 116 wRC+

To give Goins some love. His 70 wRC+ in roughly the same plate appearances is much better then his 26 wRC+ in 2014. He should be a solid contributor to the Bisons very soon.

 

Also, i probably like Goins more then most on here. I think he's decent guy to have in AAA and use as depth in a pinch.

Honestly, his defence is probably overrated. He's an above average SS who comes off as a stud using the eye test at 2nd. He's no Andrelton Simmons.

Don't like the lineup. With Buehrle pitching you want the best defense on the field. If EE is at 1st, than you have to have Carrera in LF and Collabello at DH.

That or Carrera in LF with Collabello at 1B and Edwin DH. Orioles have a ton of RH hitters and facing Buehrle will probably pull a lot of pitches. Need defense in LF.

You and pretty much everyone else would. 129 wRC+ and should be about 105 wRC+ going forward. (and can use him at 1b so Edwin doesn't have to)

 

Navarro 32 wRC+ and should be around 89 wRC+ going forward.

Was just watching the final out from last night, man Chris Davis swung at pitch way out of the zone. The count was 3-2 and Cecil throwing that pitch doesn't assert much confidence at all. Davis basically struck out on a pitch that most hitters would have taken for ball 4. If he doesn't take a bad swing at that, its bases loaded with Wieters coming up.

Just release Navarro. No one is going to trade for his ass and Gibbons would rather DH a back-up catcher than play the best lineup.

I really dislike this lack of emphasis on defense. Even Cecil criticized team after the blown save in NY for playing guys out of position.

 

 

I also dislike the fact that they hit guys like Colabello ahead of a proven guy like Martin. I know the offense is not the problem, but it just bothers me.
