You don't start the GDT without Why did you do this!!!! The lineup is out. Jays have a bunch of awesome guys in the lineup + Goins. Baltimore has a bunch of Douches.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 No it isn't brah no it isn't
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Author Posted June 20, 2015 More traditional stats: Baltimore is hitting 98 wRC+ vs lefty pitching in 515 PA this year. Gausman has a very good SIERA of 3.37 and a SwSt% 9.3. (SSS) Toronto is killing it with the bats hitting a mlb best 116 wRC+
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Author Posted June 20, 2015 I thank you for calling him Goins this time Yep "Ryan hopefully Goins to Buffalo" soon.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Author Posted June 20, 2015 To give Goins some love. His 70 wRC+ in roughly the same plate appearances is much better then his 26 wRC+ in 2014. He should be a solid contributor to the Bisons very soon. Also, i probably like Goins more then most on here. I think he's decent guy to have in AAA and use as depth in a pinch.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Author Posted June 20, 2015 His defence alone grants him an auto bench spot Honestly, his defence is probably overrated. He's an above average SS who comes off as a stud using the eye test at 2nd. He's no Andrelton Simmons.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Navarro at DH today. they have to be trying to showcase him as there is no other reason to have him in the lineup. Smoak is the better hitter and fielder.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Author Posted June 20, 2015 Navarro at DH today. they have to be trying to showcase him as there is no other reason to have him in the lineup. Smoak is the better hitter and fielder. I really don't get why Gibby loves Navarro so much.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Don't like the lineup. With Buehrle pitching you want the best defense on the field. If EE is at 1st, than you have to have Carrera in LF and Collabello at DH.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 I really don't get why Gibby loves Navarro so much. I hate it. He's been terrible this year and doesn't deserve the playing time when there are much better players on the team.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 I'd go Edwin at DH, Smoak at 1st. That or Carrera in LF with Collabello at 1B and Edwin DH. Orioles have a ton of RH hitters and facing Buehrle will probably pull a lot of pitches. Need defense in LF.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Author Posted June 20, 2015 I'd go Edwin at DH, Smoak at 1st. You and pretty much everyone else would. 129 wRC+ and should be about 105 wRC+ going forward. (and can use him at 1b so Edwin doesn't have to) Navarro 32 wRC+ and should be around 89 wRC+ going forward.
Governator Community Moderator Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Does anyone know the timeline for Saunders? I don't think Saunders knows Saunders timeline.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Author Posted June 20, 2015 I don't think Saunders knows Saunders timeline. I'm still a big believer in him. Hopefully he's healthy when he comes back this time. He could be a huge boost.
flafson Verified Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Smoak isn't on the lineup card, maybe he hurt himself yesterday?
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Was just watching the final out from last night, man Chris Davis swung at pitch way out of the zone. The count was 3-2 and Cecil throwing that pitch doesn't assert much confidence at all. Davis basically struck out on a pitch that most hitters would have taken for ball 4. If he doesn't take a bad swing at that, its bases loaded with Wieters coming up.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 I'm worried about this game, too many mistakes on GDT, then having to correct them spells trouble.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 What does Smoak have to do to play 1B regularly under Sling Blade's genius managing? What a f***ing joke. Just release Navarro. No one is going to trade for his ass and Gibbons would rather DH a back-up catcher than play the best lineup.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Author Posted June 20, 2015 I'm worried about this game, too many mistakes on GDT, then having to correct them spells trouble. I got this. Don't you worry.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Honestly, his defence is probably overrated. He's an above average SS who comes off as a stud using the eye test at 2nd. He's no Andrelton Simmons. I don't think anybody is better than Andrelton Simmons in the MLB.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 I really dislike this lack of emphasis on defense. Even Cecil criticized team after the blown save in NY for playing guys out of position. I also dislike the fact that they hit guys like Colabello ahead of a proven guy like Martin. I know the offense is not the problem, but it just bothers me. Alright, let's go.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Author Posted June 20, 2015 I don't think anybody is better than Andrelton Simmons in the MLB. That's kinda my point. He would have to be to be a valuable mlb player.
SAAviour Verified Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Let chubby play every 5th day like a good back up catcher should do. Smoak deserves to be in the lineup. I'd rather have chubby every 5 days then noodle bat Thole.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Useless info: Team hasn't lost a game by more than 2 runs in over a month, since May 15th to be exact.
