jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Rangers lose. So they can't move ahead of Minnesota or the Yankees.
BlueBirdBro Verified Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Relax guys. We were due for a really s***** offensive game. I was there though and after seeing the 3 straight K's after the bases loaded it was really hard to give a s*** even before the O's scored those runs.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Damn, missed the game but just saw that we didn't score with the bases juiced no one out in the bottom of the 8th. Also saw that fatty missed a grand slam by inches. Baseball gods trolling us.
BlueBirdBro Verified Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 A couple bounces go our way and it could be 16-17 games in a row. Have yet to be blown out in June.
BlueBirdBro Verified Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 The 500 level crowd was giving it to O'Day hard right when he came into the game. I wanted to see that f***er get crushed for a few runs.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Cubbies now up 3-1 on the Twins. Looks like the Jays will avoid losing ground for a day.. but they've got to win tomorrow, especially with the Tampa series coming.

ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Gibbons said he had Tepera face Machado because they were already down so what the heck.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Gibbons said he had Tepera face Machado because they were already down so what the heck. Did he really? It sounds like something Gibbons would say as his media sessions are usually filled with quotes like that (sarcastic or otherwise).
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 I don't get why Hendriks needs to pitch 1.2 innings up by 6, like he did against the Mets, yet is not available to get Joseph out. He probably warmed up yesterday even though he didn't pitch in the game, but had he not been used on Thursday, he could've given them an inning.

It's not a matter of AA pulling the trigger..I think the trigger has been pulled. He's shooting a gun right now with no bullets. There are two sides to every deal, I doubt a big trade is made until after the AS Break when teams have a better idea of how their seasons will turn out. Sadly, Toronto might have to wait another month or so before some help arrives. Just a hunch on my part.

jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2015 Author Posted June 21, 2015 Two streaks ended by two over anxious posters starting game day threads before lineups were posted Yeah sorry about that. No more GDT's for me.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 who starts the GDT has zero effect on the outcome of the games. Not being able to get hits in key situations lost the game yesterday. it's going to happen now and then. but I'd prefer someone who can actually do a detailed GDT doing it just to get the information organized.

Totally disagree. I upset the baseball gods last night and thus we lost. SABR 101 is whoever starts the GDT is fully responsible of the outcome of the game. my poor performance unfourtantly cost us the game and i'm very sorry for that. I think King probably deserves a second chance. Not sure though.

Not sure though. maybe we should just do a non GDT thread to follow the game lol don't want anyone feeling guilty for things out of their control... we can just pick a random existing thread and use that instead of making one
