flafson Verified Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 I am bugging my FB freinds that are Jays fans... If I get this discount link... Is anybody else interested? How much is it after discount? I may not mind sharing until the end of the season. Should be fairly cheap.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 ^ what happens if he declines and signs a 1 day contract with the Whitesox to retire in Chicago Would be f'n sweet if we got a comp pick for that. LOL

Should be fairly cheap. 35 bucks, but you only get the full 30% for getting 3 friends to sign up. I am trying to see if they have some kind of referral program for current subscribers but I can't see anything. Pretty dumb if you ask me. E: you also can receive a 35% discount for being a college student.
CHRIS Verified Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 So yeah I popped on here cause I am going to be traveling a lot lately and I don't really want to miss any games but I also don't want to what recorded games... Is there anyway I can watch online? I'm going to search around the net to find some answers but I would love to here your suggestions as well Thanks! You could sign up for MLB.TV and watch from pretty much any device that has an internet connection. Not sure what the discounted price is at his point for the rest of the season. The nice thing about this is that you get access to all games, so even on off days you could watch a rival. I think there's usually a free stream for each game, but I'm not sure what it is, nor what the video quality is.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 To 90 wins: O's: 29-16 (.644) Jays: 25-18 (.581) Yankees: 25-20 (.555)
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Goes without saying we need to go about 5-2 vs the Yanks the rest of the season.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Goes without saying we need to go about 5-2 vs the Yanks the rest of the season. Honestly its not that simple. Just watch the games and gain ground
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Goes without saying we need to go about 5-2 vs the Yanks the rest of the season. You worry too much man. Its a crazy game. Lots can happen. Injuries. Edwin goes on monumental tear....so many things. If we stay reasonably healthy and execute and get a bit of luck we will win the division...the math will take care of itself.

Not just for baseball games, but any sporting ever broadcast on sportsnet. That's awesome and once again a nice way to show Rogers that there is clearly a relationship between building a competitive team and building increased revenue.
ValiantJaysFan Verified Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Kevin Barker on Hutchison being sent down: "I've been sent down to the minors. You don't really work on anything, it's about getting your head straight." Maybe this is why he was basically a career minor leaguer? How the eff did this guy get a gig on the radio? He SOUNDS stupid, and then when you listen to what he says, he IS stupid.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Just imagine if Pentecost would have stayed healthy and hit well. I reckon he would've been in AA by now, waiting for a call up in September over Thole.

L54 Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Kevin Barker paraphrased: "Since 2008, 12 pitchers have been hit in the head area. That's a only a little more than one per year!" It's actually a lot closer to two, Kev. Math is hard though I get it.

I don't know why he is being used by sportsnet since he has no real connection to Canada and has absolutely no insight into MLB

Does anything more need to be said?

I know... but if that's all you have to hang your hat on for your career you're obviously not good at much. It's like Tom Arnold back in the beginning. At least he carved out a job without Roseanne.
