Jays sign Aumont to minor league deal...heading to AAA Buffalo.

 

The thought of facing the gauntlet of Oattes, Magnus and Ivany from the Nepean Brewers must have scared Aumont away from the NCBL.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but I have some overwhelming evidence that cannot be overlooked:

Yep, the Jays are a pedestrian 6-17 following the release of a new Sharknado film. (Sharknado 3 came out two days ago)

 

To make matters worse the Mariners have a league leading 19-4 record in that same timespan, the stats don't lie.

 

RIP this series, hopefully we can salvage a game against Happ.

I really don't understand why. Option him to the minors for more work. We just got the back of the bullpen settled. Hes going to come in and start walking guys and f***ing it up.

 

He'll be the 8th inning guy right away too, knowing Gibbons.

 

It's asking for trouble.

Hutch scratched (flu), Marco Estrada starting instead on regular rest. Jays fans can breathe a sigh of relief..

 

Hutchison will be cured of the flu on Tuesday when the Jays return home.

I'm fairly certain that picture is from this past Oakland series, when Travis was trolling the opposing pitcher and catcher by walking halfway up the third base line because Lawrie was playing so far off the bag. They stared him down because they were annoyed and that was his reaction.

I don't get why players get pissed about this? It's a game, there are rules and there are no rules that say you can't do this.

Irrelevant, there never before has been a Sharknado film featuring Ann Coulter. The inclusion of Ann Coulter in anything automatically induces vomiting and diarrhea, and since the Mariner's all watched the movie today (I have this on good authority, I'm a scout), they will be in no condition to play.
