Why are the Royals dominating AS voting?

Was there some sort of social media campaign? I don't understand how a team with a relatively small fanbase is getting so many votes especially in the positions where they clearly shouldn't be. JD has outperformed MM by a good margin yet trails by almost 2 million votes. And it's Missouri vs. Canada when it comes to a fanbase.

The Royals are like the old school fan's wet dream. A lot of people are probably voting for them to stick it to the man.

Do the Royals actually have a big fanbase? I would think they don't......hence why I was wondering if they had some social media campaign....kinda like we did for Delabar to get him in that one year. This voting is nuts

Still time left for the rest of the league's fans to get other teams' players up in votes. I mean, Escobar shouldn't be starting.. Xander Bogaerts of the Red Sox would be a better option, as he is outplaying Alcides Escobar in every facet of the game outside of defense.

Instead of voting for the right players, we should just code up a bot that votes for all of our scrubs like the Royals did. Goins, Saunders, Estrada, Navarro to start? lol

Maybe this will finally put an end to fan voting. It's always been a farce.

There are people voting Royals in just to stick it to MLB.

I mean, is it really necessary to allow 35 ballets per email?

I think you can click a button that lets you vote the entire team thats why Royals are leading across the board.

 

ha ha... that's funny. I've had a little experience with software marketers and the one button solution is their holy grail.

 

No matter how complicated the software they want it to be able to function with a maximum of one button click... this is mainly so they can demo it in 20 minutes... then take the rest of the day off.

 

Some ******* marketer in mlb thought it would be great if fans could vote with one button click... this is why the human race is doomed.

 

IT IS IMMORAL TO VOTE FOR AN ENTIRE TEAM IN ONCE CLICK. IF YOU WANT TO VOTE YOU HAVE TO SIT THERE FOR 10 MINUTES AND MAKE CHOICES... PREFERABLY INFORMED CHOICES BUT ATLEAST MAKE CHOICES...

 

My wife votes... she won't vote for all Blue Jays... if she doesn't know the players she asks. That is responsible voting.

 

Whatever marketer thought a one button voting system was a good idea should be fired and banned from any other job ever, including burger king.

The All Star game is the single most important non-playoff game on the MLB Calendar and this travesty should be investigated. Open up congress, and preserve the one last pure thing in America....THE ALL STAR GAME NEEDS TO BE SAVED!

Hopefully Infante can pass Altuve. Would be hilarious to see Mike Trout out there surrounded by 8 Royals. Also only way the voting will ever change is when something like this happens

whatever. ASG voting is a joke anyways. I wouldn't be surpised if there were 3+ raptors in the ASG next year
