Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 people are forgetting that the inning started with a blooper, that is a pop fly 9 out of 10 times, let it go, the team looks good. The kids are playing good. I am the most pessimistic person here, however the ridicolous amounts of positives so far give me a lot of hope for this year Oh for sure. Travis almost caught that too.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 How the f*** is Mark Teixeira the Yankees best hitter? LOL Yer dumn.
ScientificReason Verified Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Holy f*** what he said^^^ Baseball sucks, it doesn't always work out!! This is a discussion board, people are allowed to discuss what went wrong.....It being baseball can be said about everything, if thats all we said this board would be dead.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Yer dumn. Great analysis....CLAP CLAP CLAP!!! cf.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Yer dumn. You think Mark Teixeira is the best Yankee batter, and I'm the one that's dumn?
Praxis Verified Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Well, this hurts. But 160 games left and I can't wait to see Norris (the man with the van) pitch tomorrow. We'll get the damned yankees then!
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 @SNJeffBlair If it was me or my money, I'd have signed Miller. Never mind Papelbon or anybody else's garbage. Said that all along . Idiot
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Let's be honest though, the Jays were up by 2 only because of an error by McCann. Hopefully they win the seris tomorrow.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 RealAccountant = Jeff Blair confirmed.
Governator Community Moderator Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Yet he brought in Castro to bail out Dickey in the 7th. He also brought in another rookie, Osuna, to bail out Cecil and keep the game close. Why didn't he bring in one of the seasoned-vetrins like Redmond or Estrada instead of Osuna? I guess your logic doesn't hold water. Also, due up were Didi Gregorius, Elssbury and Gardner. You had to know they'd pinch hit for Gregorius and Ellsbury has hit Loup well in a SSS. Anyway... It's baseball guys. In regular playing conditions the first pitch by Castro would be a 2 run homer to Arod.

Praxis Verified Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Just seen it's Sabathia tomorrow; looking forward to seeing the big 5 tee off then. Plus I'm not bloody moving from the set tomorrow until the wins in the bag.

HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Relax guys. At least the Red Sox lost to Harang.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 You think Mark Teixeira is the best Yankee batter, and I'm the one that's dumn? No, I know walking Tex leaves a higher percentage of turning 2. Pretty simple.
ScientificReason Verified Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Yeah. Too bad half the retards on here don't understand basic baseball strategy, and SSS SSS? What does that mean? Sorry I am not up on internet cool dude lingo.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 I wouldn't have used either of Castro or Osuna tonight. That's a different issue. The fact is that Gibbons did use Castro yet pulled him after throwing 4 pitches. I thought he wanted guys who could go multiple innings? Anyway, I just think it's over-management when you pull a guy after throwing 4 pitches. If he doesn't trust Castro against Didi Gregorius, that's self-explanatory....but wait, he trusted Castro against A-Rod and Drew....my head's itchy, gotta scratch it.
ScientificReason Verified Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Suck my sweaty balls, k. Sigh..mature, real mature.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Great analysis....CLAP CLAP CLAP!!! cf. Are you that dumb...*CLAP, EAT A BAG OF DICKS, CLAP*
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 No, I know walking Tex leaves a higher percentage of turning 2. Pretty simple. Tex is garbage. He strikes out twice as much as he walks. He isn't hot right now, he wasn't good in the spring, and he was atrocious last year. If you wanna put lefties in high leverage roles, don't treat them like LOOGYs. If Gibby really had the confidence in Loup and Cecil to put them out there (and he should have), he should have trusted them to get Tex out. That's literally my only quarrel with how the last three innings were managed.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 One thing is clear...Castro and Osuna are doing great at thos point in the season..Loup not so much
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Are you that dumb...*CLAP, EAT A BAG OF DICKS, CLAP* That would take away your day job
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 SSS? What does that mean? Sorry I am not up on internet cool dude lingo. "small sample size" is internet cool dude lingo? Get out of the house.
