G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 wtf it's not a 1:00 game?! Started early today
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Doubleplay ball, Osuna generating weak contact
glory Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Saunders even playing minor league games right now is shocking. I wouldn't rush him back. Wait until he's ready. I'm more worried about Edwin, not only for his back, but because Gibbons will play him at 1B to get Navarro's 78 career wRC+ against righties in the lineup.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 I haven't seen much of Travis on defense. He's been good they're saying?
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Damn missed two Osuna innings. Is Castro slated to pitch today?
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 I haven't seen much of Travis on defense. He's been good they're saying? the last couple of games, pretty good. Made some exciting plays yesterday
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Damn missed two Osuna innings. Is Castro slated to pitch today? yes sir
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 I haven't seen much of Travis on defense. He's been good they're saying? Early on he bobbled A LOT of easy plays. But lately he's been pretty flexible and making plays that Goins does with good range. I don't think his arm is as strong as Goins, though.
Bluejays0988 Verified Member Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Good inning for Osuna, nothing hit hard and got the double play when needed. Doesn't look like he throws that hard what does his fastball sit around?

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2015 Author Posted March 22, 2015 Hate how you get high fives for RBI groundouts. That is not a success. How can you say this? There are other scenarios where the run doesn't score (K,pop up or shallow fly ball). The fact that an out was recorded is a negative but there is a positive event in the process, a run was scored. Now if a run was scored on a DP, that's a bit different.

Making outs in sacrifice for a rbi is a damn stupid strategy. No matter what
Bluejays0988 Verified Member Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 wut What about that sentence does not make sense..or are you saying what to the fact that I said it doesn't look like he throws that hard? I honestly didn't know this is my first time seeing him pitch and I didn't even look at the mph.

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Hate how you get high fives for RBI groundouts. That is not a success. most of August last year the jays couldn't even have productive outs. I'm not sure it's worth praise in the first inning of a preseason game, but it's something we will need come the dog days of summer.
Bluejays0988 Verified Member Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Watching Navarro on this team is making me pretty angry. No disrespect to him as he had a decent season last year so I can understand his frustration, that being said we acquired Martin so he should have been dealt this off season for anything.
Bluejays0988 Verified Member Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 He sits 92-95 and hits high 90's mutiple times a start. He throws very hard. Sounds like a great arm. Thanks
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Hate how you get high fives for RBI groundouts. That is not a success. Yes I agree. I'd much rather everyone ignore the guy and sit on their hands on the bench as he comes back to the dugout.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 What is the latest on who is going to catch Dickey?
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Making outs in sacrifice for a rbi is a damn stupid strategy. No matter what Saying Bautista intentionally made an out in exchange for an RBI is also stupid. I hate sac flies!!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 The changeup is filthy. I'd say it's easily flashing 60 grade.
