Making outs in sacrifice for a rbi is a damn stupid strategy. No matter what

Yes but we're not talking about a sacrifice situation.

Osuna looks ready to start on the big leagues...when are they thinking he will come up as a starter?

When there is a spot for him

Osuna looking very relaxed on the mound

Martin is so smooth behind the plate. he movement is subtle.

Is Martin the only regular who hasn't got the bat going?

He sits 92-95 and hits high 90's mutiple times a start. He throws very hard.

With an easy looking delivery. Love it.

When Osuna misses, he doesn't miss the zone by much. I think Martin is helping him out quite a bit this game with pitches near the edges, but the stuff is undeniably good.

It looks like Osuna has three plus pitches right now. The change looks like a finishing pitch today, the slider looked like a finishing pitch the other day against New York, and the fastball has both velocity and some command right now.

I think they should be aggressive with him this season. The only issue with him potentially contributing to the big league team later on this year is that he doesn't have a whole lot of innings due to past injuries, so they shouldn't make his workload too large this year. Maybe they pull him out of the rotation in AA at some point in the summer and put him in the big league pen? That would give him experience, help the big team, but allow them to control/limit his innings and workload.

Maybe at some point you call up Osuna to relieve and then throw Castro into the big rotation to get innings (assuming you need a SP).

Next year's starting rotation should be Stroman, Sanchez, Norris, Osuna, Castro...with Hoffman replacing possibly Sanchez.

i'm thinking they resign either one of Buehlre (if he doesn't retire) or Dickey

Man hard not to be excited about the amount of young talented pitchers we have. Stroman and hutch already having big league success, then there's Norris, Sanchez, Castro, Osuna, Hoffman. In theory we shouldn't have to spend any money to have a potentially dominant staff for a number of years.
