San Diego is going to experience what we experienced with the both of them (Morrow and Johnson), maximum 5 starts before one of them goes down, and 5 starts later the other will go down, both out until September lol. No point in trying over and over again

He's pretty bad at this point. Doesnt strike batters out, doesnt induce ground balls. Fastball isnt great and will get squared up. If he's starting that means Norris, Hutch and a bunch of other guys went down anyway and the season's over regardless.

There's definitely a bit of truth in your fanboy diatribe regarding AA and ownership around here with the sacred defenders of the forum but you really went over the top apeshit Jack Nicholson style with this post.

 

As ridiculously frustrating as Rogers can be handling this team, and as embarrassing as it is to see AA be the full of s*** dancing monkey for them in front of the media at times there is ZERO possibility we're finishing in last place. Like I said maybe my sarcasm detector is broken but you couldn't have been serious?? In fact you really gotta feel for AA, I mean the guy's been doing the best he can this off season with what he's been given to work with.

I'm just going to guess but it's probably because he's afraid that AA is going to value what players like Wolf, Francis, and Viciedo have done in the past and will make the 25 man roster instead of more talented, younger players.

I think it's mostly because the team went out and acquired two star position players but did nothing for the rotation or pen except minor league deals and waiver claims. The organization always goes half in, never any sense of urgency despite the playoff drought and miserable fans dying to see a winner.
