So if it gets to the point that Randy Wolf of all people is needed to start 20 games, what other pitcher would you recommend the team use instead? You're going on the erroneous assumption that he'll be pitching in place of someone available who is better.

 

As for this being AA's worst move, this is an addition. Not a move. No one has been replaced or gone elsewhere. No one is going to lose his job to Randy Wolf.

Well I for one rather like Randy Wolf. He was still sharp towards the end. Injuries are what did him in not ability. If healthy (and that's a big if), he's probably an upgrade over Estrada. This is a very good no risk signing, chicken littles be damned.
