Not sure if a .300 team average is maintable... maybe .280.

They might talk pitch framing, well OK the point out of that is keep the other guys off base... they might talk defense (keep the other guys off base)... or contact (hit for high average get on base)... or walks (get on base)...

 

then there's the ******** camp who says that on base percentage differential doesn't matter if you have clutch hitting and Ryan Goins and play the game the right way and get rbis and have veteran presence then you will win. There are still a lot of those guys.
