intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Does anyone else dislike the Dodgers the way I do? Bunch of under achievers. So many good players, including a 1-2 punch of Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke, and all they can muster is a 90-win campaign in the NL goddamned West. Holy s***, I turn away for 5 minutes and now they are down by seven.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Mets and kicking in the dodgers tonight. Cespedes just obliterated one into the second deck. 10-3
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Dodgers getting the s*** kicked out of them. GO METS!
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Uh, why bring in Familia? No other relievers down there that can close out a 6 run lead?
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Uh, why bring in Familia? No other relievers down there that can close out a 6 run lead? trying to just get it done I guess.
baubau Verified Member Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Uh, why bring in Familia? No other relievers down there that can close out a 6 run lead? Considering this team used Price on a 6 run lead, I don't think bringing in Familia is that redonk. Just sayin. ..Super sayin.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 hope the cubs and mets can get things done tomorrow. They can go 7 against each other in the next series.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 hope the cubs and mets can get things done tomorrow. They can go 7 against each other in the next series. That would be a very good matchup. But I think both the Cardinals and Dodgers go to game 5.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 hope the cubs and mets can get things done tomorrow. They can go 7 against each other in the next series. Nah I think it'll be Cubs and Dodgers for the ALCS
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Not sure why it's not hyped, but a Mets fan is in critical condition after getting beat the f*** out of him in the Dodgers' parking lot
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Not sure why it's not hyped, but a Mets fan is in critical condition after getting beat the f*** out of him in the Dodgers' parking lot Jeezus... Didn't this also happen to a SF Giants fan a few years back? So much for the laid-back L.A. crowd.

I guess people are getting grumpy that their team with a 270mill payroll can't make it past the 1st round.... But this is absolutely ridiculous when people realize it is just a game and take a loss too seriously. My Guess though they are not real fans. I can't see real fans doing stuff like this. Unless your in Baltimore lol

Yup, didn't hear anything about this Mets fan. Truly, nonsensical. http://nypost.com/2015/10/13/mets-fan-victim-of-bloody-dodger-stadium-beatdown/

Most American cities often have multiple homicides per day, including LA, so physical attacks are surely commonplace even without baseball.

The guy likely spent a shitload of money to see his Mets play in LA, catches 1 game and is laid up in critical condition for cheering on his ballclub, just brutal man.

I agree. This kind of thing just can't happen, but sometimes sports brings out the worst in people. This happens a lot in Europe too, I'm glad we're not like that with hockey.

Things like this rarely happen, but it's 2 in California in about a years time and that's a bad trend. In the end it's just a game and should never be a "life or death" issue.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Hahahaha... Lackey flips out on Cruz for calling a curve to Hammel(basehit), next pitch, bomb, 3 run dinger by Baez! Looks good on him.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 It's a shame the Cardinals had so many injuries.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Vancouver_Stanley_Cup_riot That's a very different situation, not exactly what I meant.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 the Cubs are so good. really hope we get a chance to knock them down a peg or two.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Maddon turning this into a bullpen game and Grimm strikes out the side. Will he go another?
