Does anyone else dislike the Dodgers the way I do? Bunch of under achievers. So many good players, including a 1-2 punch of Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke, and all they can muster is a 90-win campaign in the NL goddamned West.

I guess people are getting grumpy that their team with a 270mill payroll can't make it past the 1st round.... But this is absolutely ridiculous when people realize it is just a game and take a loss too seriously.

I'm sad, but not surprised to hear that. Most American cities often have multiple homicides per day, including LA, so physical attacks are surely commonplace even without baseball.

I agree. This kind of thing just can't happen, but sometimes sports brings out the worst in people. This happens a lot in Europe too, I'm glad we're not like that with hockey.

being able to go to any venue and root for your team has always been a great thing about North American sports. Things like this rarely happen, but it's 2 in California in about a years time and that's a bad trend. In the end it's just a game and should never be a "life or death" issue.
