jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Wtf are the Astros doing? Altuve hurt on the collision. Potentially fatal blow to the Astros playoff hopes if Altuve is knocked out due to a concussion.. it would all but guarantee one of the Angels/Twins/Indians making the playoffs.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Gotta love Andrus and Beltre.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 The 94-win Pirates are likely going to have to settle for a Wild Card spot. There's still a chance they win 100 games too. Wow, baseball.

jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Anyone getting tickets to see the Jays in Montreal? Presale for tickets go on sale today for Inside Pitch subscribers. The last two years games were sold out. I can't confirm if I could go 100% though if I bough pairs to both games today anyways, and couldn't end up making it, would they be easy to resell on StubHub?

Wow, baseball. Could be worse. The 1993 Giants won 103 games and missed the playoffs cause Atlanta won 104 that year.
Joe Shades Verified Member Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 I think the NBA is changing things this year, it does not matter if you win the division , teams with better record get better seed

baubau Verified Member Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Blue Jays BsR leaders: #1 Ben Revere #2 Kevin Pillar MLB BsR leaders: #1 Ben Revere #2 Kevin Pillar Should be an asterisk on the MLB one as if Billy Hamilton wasn't injured he'd be crushing it, 13.3 in 114 games. But yes, no. 1 & 2 nonetheless.
MunenoriKawasakiMVP Verified Member Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 The old timers game between SF and Oakland is an absolute slugfest. kid Jarrett Parker of the Giants cracked 3 homers and is a 3 run homer away from the homer cycle
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Jeeeeeeeesus (I realize KC didn't have their A team out there, but so many whiffs). http://m.mlb.com/video/v502350383/clekc-carrasco-fans-15-royals-in-onehit-shutout/?game_pk=415944
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Man, think the Royals can go far? Their pitching is awful.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Yessss 6-2 CLE on a wild pitch. And now a walk!
AdamLindsMom Verified Member Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Cleveland doing their part. I guess they are still kind of alive as well. Yes, they are. And they are the team that would be the Jays worst match up, IMO.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 KC broadcasters are annoying as FK with using nicknames constantly. "Sally", "Moose". laaame
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Want to face Houston, KC or Texas. Not the Yanks or Cleveland.

baubau Verified Member Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 9-5 for the Indians now but I am scared (Trouba95 s*** right here!). I hope Cleveland doesn't make the playoffs because they would give the Jays a hard time.

I hope Cleveland doesn't make the playoffs because they would give the Jays a hard time. I don't think the Indians will be able to leapfrog Minnesota and the Angels to be honest (Twins winning going into the 9th at Detroit right now); there's just too few games left to do it. For some reason Cleveland always seem to play KC tough (it will probably be 9-9 after tonight) - we are 4-3 against the Indians and the Royals this year.
Governator Community Moderator Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 I can't believe how scared some of you are of match ups. We've owned the Yankees all year, and with home field advantage I'd look forward to it!

Stadium and announcers feed sounds like a funeral procession.
