f***ing Royals commentators are too much. Almost have me wishing for Pat and Buck.

Royals have easily the most insufferable broadcast team IMO. Seems fitting.

Rangers keep winning. Let's hope Houston takes 2/3. We need home field assuming we clinch the East.

If the Jays win the division, they will have home field advantage first round. Can't see the Rangers having a better record than the Jays

Rex Hudler is a creep. Just has that really big weirdo vibe off him.

Rangers go through stretches where they look really good but then lose games they should win, they are about ready for one of those bad stretches.

You obviously don't understand the definition of need.

Looking at Chris sale, God love him to pitch excellent tonight :) but he seems like a really good value in terms of salary.

Looks like he's making around $10-12 million in the next 2-3 yrs

Good deal!

Chances of Stroman winning comeback player of the year?

I mean, I know he doesn't have the stats to back it up, but just the presence and everything

Slim to none. ARod and Fielder have much stronger cases.

Good pitching? The Yankees lefty-heavy lineup will have to face to extremely nasty lefties in Sale and Rodon. The Yankees are a patient bunch of hitters so they will probably draw their share of BBs from Rodon, but he has been filthy for a couple months now and has ace-level stuff.

Damn

Feel bad for him

But bring on them Royals :)

Can you imagine. That series, should it ever happen, should match the intensity of the Yankees. Everyone wants to beat the Royals. Cocky beaning f***os.

Greg Holland TJS "is likely"

4:08pm: Holland has a “significant” tear in his UCL, according to manager Ned Yost (via McCullough). Tommy John surgery is the likely course of action. Yost now believes Holland tore the ligament last August, meaning he pitched last September and the postseason as well as all of 2015 with a tear in the ligament.

3:55pm: Holland tells reporters, including McCullough (Twitter links) that an MRI taken earlier this month revealed ligament damage. He has, in fact, been battling discomfort since last August but did not want to undergo an MRI previously, as his desire was instead to pitch through the pain
