Mike Trout with a home run in first AB against the Mariners. Constants are constants.

Felix probably pitches 9 innings and Seattle loses

1-0

Jered Weaver is throwing absolute garbage at Seattle. Sitting 84 on his 4-seam fastball.

Snider has a couple of hits in orange, as well as a diving catch and an outfield assist at home.

I will be crushed if Snider breaks out as another bird... f***

That's pretty much what he was doing in spring training. Weaver is arm angle, movement, and smoke & mirrors at this point.

Rasmus is followed by Jake Marisnick.

Three years ago you'd think I'd be watching a Jays game. but instead its the Astros lol

Red Sox and Porcello signed extension

Jay Jaffe

4/$82.5 million for Porcello is not a gamble I'd make on a pitcher with 5.5 K/9 career.

Yeah, I don't really get that price tag for Porcello.

Red Sox can pay whatever they want for that. Maybe they are trying to keep the pitching that they have so they are willing to overpay?

Would have been much, much better off putting that money towards Lester. Better to overpay for a really good pitcher than a pretty okay pitcher.

I'm calling it: Dallas Keuchel has the best facial hair in baseball. It was good last year, but it's on another level right now.
