This started with an attempt (by GeorgiaPeach) to mock me for being an alleged defender of the weak and less fortunate (as if that was a bad thing), whilst my opposition proudly stated that he was an elitist in that respect and couldn't give two shits about those folks (or humanity, really) ...

Not that it's relevant to the point I made, and the point you're making for me, sadly enough, but most people who have achieved the level of an executive in a business setting (especially one in which they interact with engineers on a regular basis), have taken a numerous higher level courses in mathematics beyond "1st year jr calculus" courses.

I believe in populist capitalism. So my criteria would be that the thread is negatively impacting the number of daily visitors and possibly profitability of this fine forum.

 

Some formula involving total profit of site and number of individuals contributing to the profit.

 

A little more then just profit because you wouldn't want one rich donor getting the thread shut down (maybe even Moogy himself making mega donations ala the Koch brothers).

 

However if it insulted the people, especially the people who donate money, and made them not want to donate money anymore, then shut it down.

I enjoyed it. Felt like I was Jason Bourne for a moment. I gathered all my essentials and plotted how I was going to make a run for it. Then I realized my essentials were comprised of flonase, contacts and glasses, some candy corn and ibuprofen and I snapped back to reality.

So, yes, you most definitely were thinking of making them TO a little girl, even if they were ABOUT someone else.
