I couldn't care less at this point. The season is over, and Morrow is going to be bought out shortly after. What a disappointment.

Morrow and Romero's implosions (injury or performance wise), has been a huge blow to this franchise. Too bad, but s*** happens and you shouldn't overpay in trades to try to compensate for it...well, too late now.

Meh. It's not like we're the only team to have a couple of pitchers break in the last 4-5 years.

Romero, Morrow, Cecil, McGowan, Litsch, Drabek

Yeah - Cecil is likely going to be our closer next year when Jansen leaves. Uggh - next season is going to be tough to watch. Gose as the everyday center field, Pillar in left when Melky gets a 5 year $75million offer from someone else and still no one at second and an aging Reyes at short.

There is no way they go into the season with that lineup.

Whoever is managing next year has no choice but to shift Reyes to 2nd, otherwise he isn't the right manager.

Declining Morrow's option and then bringing him back on a cheaper deal wouldn't be a terrible idea as long as they put him in the pen. His days as a starter are over. Not durable enough.

Someone will take a flier on him hoping to strike it rich. He will get an incentive laden contract with a small min. If he is smart he changes his training a little to include a lot of stretching to avoid the muscle strains.

Gave us glimpses of talent but like Mcgowan just can't stay on the field so as the Hawk would say " He Gone "

Probably. And AA won't do one of those. Boston, Chicago Cubs or Texas might.

I feel like Brandon Morrow would be an awesome reliever. But not at $10m.

I'd happily take him at 4M with plans to be an 8th inning guy with a shot at closing. Kind of what Delabar was/was expected to be.

He would be Delabar 2014 - he has the stuff but cant stay healthy and struggles mightily with command. He couldn't find it as a SP so its a risk to assume he can in a set up role.

4mm ish to find out is probably worth it in this market.

Unless we make some upgrades (which we wont) ....even with Melky back we stand to get crushed next yr in the retooled AL East.

If Gose and Pillar both are everyday players (would be ok with Gose in CF if we have Melky back) and Reyes isn't at 2nd we are f***ed (yes...even with Sanchez, Stro and Norris).

The thing is he won't come back for that much and certainly not with Toronto. If he was smart he goes to the NL in a pitcher's park much like what JJ did but with hopefully better results.
