Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Really? Look who you're asking, I watched it and had the world's largest orgasm. (Also, I read the leaked script and remembered that scene ) I apologize, that was silly of me
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Give me a Deadpool movie and I will single-handedly make it profitable Sounds like a plan! Who wouldn't want to watch a good Deadpool movie made by Deadpool
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 What do you think a producer does? "Creative direction" is probably the easiest way to frame it. Producers generally don't get involved in the creative process other than hiring the writers, the director and everyone else involved. A producer makes it possible for the movie to be made, but the director is far more responsible for the creative direction once the script is written. The producers in movies hire people, pay the bills and make sure things come in on budget.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Sounds like a plan! Who wouldn't want to watch a good Deadpool movie made by Deadpool The leaked script was awesome, as was the leaked test animation footage. It will be a great movie, Fox just needs to suck it up and give them a budget to get it made.

Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 f***ing couldn't even add a run last inning. Astros take the lead here.

The producers in movies hire people, pay the bills and make sure things come in on budget. Unless it's substantially different from television, that's not completely accurate. The executive-producers are more the "money people" while the producers handle "conceptual" stuff. The producer is in charge of the general direction of a product, including hiring the writer (and approving/controlling script flow, so if a producer was like "this origin story sucks, rewrite it", the writer rewrites it.)
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Very good Seattle team.. yeah right! They'd be good if they actually hit.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Did you see Guardians of the Galaxy yet? If so, what did you think? I'm going to see it Tuesday (with an ex Argos cheerleader... Just wanted to toss that out there... )

Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Lol losing to the lowly Astros.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 If only we could hit with f***ing RISP.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Cant throw shutouts every game....offense is entirely to blame for this losing streak
DH12 Verified Member Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Lol losing to the lowly Astros. why does everyone say astros are garbage this is the big leagues. At any time or series a team lower in the division can beat a team higher in the standings. They are all good players.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 It's 2 to 1 guys? Relax? We still have a shot at this, but with any level of not terribleness we've got at least 3 runs by now.
ParkdaleTdot Verified Member Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 and this is why not cashing in runs earlier burns us

Well, they're better than I am, but they're not all good players compared to other professional baseball players..
