ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 When he only has like two reliable guys right now, most calls will be called questionable. He can't control the fact that the guys in the pen have been putrid. There was no reason to take out Cecil. If he let Loup face Pujols with a guy on and a 1-run lead, he should've let Cecil face Longoria with 2 out, a 3-run lead and no runners on.
GATC Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Worst team I've ever watched, epic bad
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Poo jays Portland Jays... Has a nice ring to it.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Come on dude enough with the excuses...this is unacceptable What excuse? It's true. If the jays losing a 5-1 lead is pathetic, then the rays giving up a 5-1 lead is also pathetic.

He can't control the fact that the guys in the pen have been putrid. You can't stick with a reliable guy if he's clearly struggling though. If another guy screws it up, so be it, but I don't think a guy should be left in if he's giving it away, regardless of past reliability.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Orioles just walked off vs. the Yankees on a Nick Hundley single. Damn.. Let's hope the A's beat the Mariners.
GATC Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Unbelievable ability to fail in all possible situations

And if he did and Longoria got on base, people would still be calling for his head.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Rays commentators love Loup. They've been talking him up for the last half hour. "Nasty."

Who are you referring to because I don't consider McGowan one of the reliable guys.

Chappy Community Moderator Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Worst team I've ever watched, epic bad Are all your posts like this?
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Well, as I just mentioned, Warren just served up a Machado double, then a walk-off single by Nick Hundley, dropping the Yankees to .500. If you think the Jays are having it bad, the Yankees are worse! No reliable starters other than Kuroda due to long-term injuries, and a gassed bullpen.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 The Orioles just won't f*** off.

GATC Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Orioles, now there's a well constructed team
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 And if he did and Longoria got on base, people would still be calling for his head. No reasonable person would've complained. Remember, Loney was next. Even if Longoria got on, there's a better chance that Cecil gets Loney than McGowan getting him out.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 The Orioles just won't f*** off. This is the year of the Orioles.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Who are you referring to because I don't consider McGowan one of the reliable guys. Fair enough, I read your post as saying Dustin was one of the good ones and should have been allowed to get out of it.
