Chappy Community Moderator Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 No reasonable person would've complained. Remember, Loney was next. Even if Longoria got on, there's a better chance that Cecil gets Loney than McGowan getting him out. Reasonable? Do you read these threads?

GATC Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 AA thinks a team assembled from idiots and misfits will contend
Chappy Community Moderator Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Fair enough, I read your post as saying Dustin was one of the good ones and should have been allowed to get out of it. No, just that Gibbons has so little to work with that he is almost setup for failure at this point.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 This is the year of the Orioles. If they're going to stay strong, we should focus on catching a sinking Mariners team, who we trail by only 1.5 games. We can easily catch them.. they've got Oakland and LA next!
GATC Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Watching this team actually makes you dumber

GATC Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Can you feel last place coming soon to a theatre near you?
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Would be nice if Francisco could bunt/hit a dribbler to 3rd. No one is there. But better than a DP

labadee Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 time to cash them in! let's go blue jays
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 It's what I was saying earlier, he's looking breaking ball but doing so means he can't adjust back to the fastball. The pitch sequencing on him tonight has been easy to pick up. Soft first pitch for strike 1, fastball strike two, the fastball off the plate for swinging strike 3 or weak contact.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Reyes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bourjos Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 I'm sure they'll find a way to blow this

This seems like "pitching to the score".
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Atta boy, Reyes! Now a SF at least.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Reyes with a huge double! Now it's up to Tolleson to get the Jays ahead for Janssen...
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Heh, perfect play. Intense gameontheline situation and a replacement level scrub without the platoon advantage is up....because of injury Whichever baseball God got to write the script for this game can eat my shorts.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Reasonable? Do you read these threads? You're dancing around the issue, I think you mentioned you were drunk somewhere in the GT? LOL, I'm the one bringing up the issue, I have no clue why you bring up hypothetical complaints from trolls. There was no need to take out Cecil with 2 outs, a 3-run lead and Loney due after Longoria. I also raised the issue of letting Loup face Pujols with a 1-run lead and a runner on the other day. But anyway, to each his own.

This seems like "pitching to the score". At this point, the Yankees are so awful right now the O's could easily take 2/3 or sweep the Yankees. Things are falling apart in New York.. even the Mets are better than the Yanks, despite the Mets poor record.
