John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Doubleplaytista I guess he doesn't like hanging curves in the heart of the plate anymore.... Would rather swing at change ups in the dirt.
sh3156 Verified Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 This season may cause me more emotional scarring than the last one. I can't handle this s*** anymore. Need to take a step back. It has caused problems with my GF. Like all women she cant understand why I am so depressed if its just a game.

The Jays are like that girl you're just f*** buddies with. Every once in a while you get satisfaction from the relationship, but deep down you know she's bat s*** crazy, but you don't care cuz she gives great head, but one day wake up and realize she stole your wallet and car.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 There ya go Buck, you just solved the problem. " you can talk about injuries but everyone has injuries, you need to call upon your depth ..." This just in, the Jays have no depth. AA built a " stars and scrubs" lineup with absolutely no depth. So when the stars get hurt the replacements are so much worse, you look like a AAA team. The "stars" are the ones letting us down. 9-19 since the bats went dead vs STL. The stars should have pulled this team out of the mud, but nothing of the sort has happened. It's just compounded.

Convo Verified Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Good night guys Apathy is starting to set in on me Lol^ Time to go do something else. Season is long over. Not really a fan are you I'm back and now he craps out. That's funny.
Convo Verified Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Looks like everyone has crapped out. Where's Spanky's *clap clap clap* ??? *Listens to the dead silence*
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 This is like 2009 all over again.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Angels are hitting everything with authority
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Fire Gibbons need to spark the team somehow. Gibbons can't do it apparently.

For times exactly like this when your stars are hurt and/or struggling. Lind should be in the DL for craps sake, he can't even jog without discomfort. Rasmus isn't healthy, Bautista isn't healthy, Navarro probably still isn't 100% (and even if he was... He's a 8-9 hitter at best) Edwin and Lawrie are gone... The only regulars I'd say are healthy are Reyes and Cabrera, and Reyes looks like he forgot how to hit.
Convo Verified Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 This is like 2009 all over again. Actually that's a really good comparison.

I'm arguing the decline started before the slew of injuries kicked in, but what team has the depth to almost literally replace the whole starting nine? Depth is very important, though, I don't dispute that.
bowld Verified Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Hindsight is 20/20 but imagine how much fun this team would be to watch had we never made the Mets/Marlins trades. We would actually have some solid depth to rely on and wouldnt be stuck with f***ing Dickey and Reyes.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Wow.. Reyes' defence has really declined.

Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Not to mention the defense.... That's so Reyes
Convo Verified Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Lol, he got sick of crying bitches like you flipping out over the announcers commending a player for good baserunning on a 1st to 3rd. Seriously man, take some medication or something. Oh so we're putting words in people mouths now. I only referred to Kawasaki tagging from 3rd.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 need to spark the team somehow. Gibbons can't do it apparently. If this team is filled with so many mental midgets that the prospect of going from second seed in the AL to below .500 in just over one month's time isn't enough to spark them, nothing can save them. See the ball, f***ing hit the ball. Catch the ball, f***ing throw the ball. That's it.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Remember a few weeks ago when Santos was saying he needed yo trust his fastball more and challenge hitters rather tha throwing sliders like 80% of the time..? Nice walk on 5 of 6 offspeed pitches. Nice to see he's learning

John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Whoops. Gonna get Jose hit later for that...
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Now Navarro might have gotten hurt "hustling" down the line, this is a joke.
