That was the right call, you want that run to score on a single and you aren't letting Bautista run at full effort with his legs at this stage. The problem was asking DM to bunt instead of just leaving Lind in to do it. Save the better bat for later and although I have no idea if Lind is any good at bunting, he couldn't have done any worse.
