Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 2, 2014 Author Posted July 2, 2014 Happ is the least of our concerns right now. He is our number 1 concern behind Lawries health.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Lindy is a beast...all year and last. Trying to think if we have ever fielded this poor of an OF before?! Flashbacks of Lind and Delgado out there! Don't think they have ever fielded this poor a defence. Kawa is the only above average defender out there. A lot of really bad defenders Melky, edwin, Lind, Reyes, Francisco, Navarro..
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 He is our number 1 concern behind Lawries health. not even close! why don't you review 5th starters numbers for the AL.... Look at who we won with as 5th starters in 92 and 93. Few, if any, have top quality starters 1-5...not reasonable to expect.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 He is our number 1 concern behind Lawries health. For me it's 1. #1 starter 2. 2nd baseman 3. someone that can hit lefties 4. Bullpen 5. your 5th starter

However I think Dickey will be better if you look at this point in the season and on. I think a RH 2nd base or 3rd baseman is the biggest priority especailly since Lawrie is out of the lineup. That is going to make the biggest difference in trying to win the division.

Bullpen 5. your 5th starter We're all saying the same thing though 1 and 5 are the same thing - because getting a 1/2 like Price/Shields/Shark/Hamels/whoever pushes Happ from the rotation Agree on 2B Kratz can hit lefties if we could keep him up BP hopefully sorts itself out with Santos and Cecil. It also helps moving Happ to the bullpen.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 We're all saying the same thing though Getting a 1/2 like Price/Shields/Shark pushes Happ from the rotation I was kinda hoping for Dickey... like that would happen

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Who are you and WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH JUAN FRANCISCO NO STRIKE OUTS IN TWO AT BATS????
Governator Community Moderator Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Welp, Juan was due for a hit err I mean a homer.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Who are you and WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH JUAN FRANCISCO NO STRIKE OUTS IN TWO AT BATS???? How huge would it be to have early season Juan back??? (or even close to it)
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 It's so easy to dream on the possibility of Francisco becoming the next EE/JB. The raw power is just crazy. Too many holes in the swing though.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 I was kinda hoping for Dickey... like that would happen I know Regardless, acquiring a quality 1/2 caliber starter helps with the top of the rotation, the bottom of the rotation and the bullpen all at once (unless Happ is included in the package going way for some reason) Happ makes a perfectly decent swing/long man for the rest of the season
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 and once again all they have are hellen keller replays. what the hell is wrong with MLB. you should have several shots of 1st and home. most plays happen there.
TBJ12 Verified Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 How the f*** can they call him out there?
