Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Again, to sound off on this "manager" and this organization. We sent down Goins earlier this year who showed nothing but spectacular defense. There's no arguing that he's probably the best defensive 2b we've had since Alomar. He turns Dp's like a f***ing star. His hitting was admittedly suspect. So we've replaced him straight off with this f***ing Tolleson idiot? A guy who can't hit his way out of a wet paper bag? His OBP at .300 and falling.....and he's made several base running errors that I've witnessed, not to mention a few late inning routine gaffe's defensively. So why in the f*** would any organization replace a stellar defender and a guy who can turn Dp's with the best of em with this idiot? I'm glad they've finally come to their senses and at least asserted Kawasaki in there, but he's no better a hitter and certainly nowhere near the defender Goins is....although he does admiitedly give the team a boost with his mere presence. It just makes me wonder again, WTF is this organization and "manager" thinking? I'm no fan of Goins bat, that's for sure, but he sure seems to be the best option this team has there at the moment. Pitching and defense win games and championships. We have plenty of bats, we don't depend on Goins for his offense WHATSOEVER. To me, just another example of how this organization isn't putting itself in a position to win with it's questionable judgment. Oh Yeah.... CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP... ROFL
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 At least we have speed on the bases for a bunt. All he needs to do is get it down.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 We could get our third walk-off bunt of the year here... lol
43211234 Verified Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Pitching change? What? Why would they take out of the best LHP relievers this year out for Gose?
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 I love that that was a "double" and not at the VERY least a single and an error... f*** I hate official scorers. This is some strange managing all over the place here.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Lefty Smith out with Gose due up? Interesting.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 have to put this game away right here and now.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 2, 2014 Author Posted July 2, 2014 Gose has to have a good bunt abd Matro will redeem himself
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Lefty Smith out with Gose due up? Interesting. I think Gose actually is better at bunting against LHP this year even though its been a small sample.

ROFL They simply don't have any solid options for 2B and they sent down Goins when his OBP was .203... I can get a .203 OBP.
Governator Community Moderator Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Because Tolleson is a RHB, period. This is a better reason.
