The thing that went most right for us last year...has become a significant Achilles heel 2014.

 

Frustrating 0-2 nails the lead off man.

That's the one spot I feel MIGHT be worth it. Might be wrong. And not upset at the non bunt there either way. Had three chances to score with a single and nobody could get it done

 

Bunting was clearly the right move there. Rasmus is hitting .189 vs LH this year (aka pitcher territory).

Another Gibbons bad decision could possibly cost us again.

 

Yeah what a terrible decision. Bring in the righty who has been fantastic out of the pen to face a righty. What on earth was he thinking!?!?!?!?! I mean it only resulted in a double play. Off with his head!!!!

Nice DP there!

 

You know, Milwaukee is a good team.. with the combination of strong pitching and offense, it's no wonder they lead all of the NL. It's nice to see the Jays staying tough vs. them.

The thing is, you're up by one and you already have a runner in scoring position, the first two hitter's jobs were to at least move up the runners, they didn't. We have to consider that we didn't exactly have the world killers coming up, and even though Rasmus sucks against lefties, you at least give him the chance to drive one (he certainly has the power to do so) considering you have the lead.
