Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Archer has wicked stuff, the fastball movement is nasty.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Hendriks coming out again - hold your breath.
Convo Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Just get Archer's pitch count up and get him out of this game. Agreed, pretty much nobody is squaring him up... kid is good.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Only a moron says hendricks is pitching well. No amount of FIP is gonna change that. Literally no one is disagreeing with you. North just said he agrees that Hendriks isn't pitching well. But whatever floats your boat, Metallijay.
BarkatToronto Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 This hendricks kid reminds me of Josh Towers Except for the curve ball and Towers was better looking
IBTrini Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Amazing catch. That catch >> Rajai's "famous" wall climber 2 years ago. It was a really nice catch but that wall climber was epic in my eyes.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Wasn't aware of that. It's basically to keep the "neighbourhood play" unofficially on the books, trying to keep fielders safe from guys trying to bowl the over to break up the double play... That's how I understand the rule anyway.
theblujay Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Literally no one is disagreeing with you. North just said he agrees that Hendriks isn't pitching well. But whatever floats your boat, Metallijay. An inning ago he said he was pitching well when it was clear he wasn't. That's all
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Keep the ball down.... and Navarro - L2FRAME
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 An inning ago he said he was pitching well when it was clear he wasn't. That's all After the first inning I bet you said he was pitching well too! I'm allowed to change my mind as more information comes in.

But whatever floats your boat, Metallijay. Stop whining LOL jesus, half you guys spend more time crying about posts them talking about the game.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 An inning ago he said he was pitching well when it was clear he wasn't. That's all Yes, but: Yes! It's a small sample either way. We're nowhere close to being able to establish Hendriks' true talent. All we can say is how he has pitched in the opportunities he's been given. And after that inning, Hendriks' xFIP is now 5.32 for the game. So I'm with you guys now on him pitching poorly. -- Holy mother that ball got blasted.
BarkatToronto Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Lol foul omg get hendricks out of there
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Stop whining LOL jesus, half you guys spend more time crying about posts them talking about the game. You realize you're whining more than anyone lmao

That's how I understand the rule anyway. It's probably poorly worded much like the transfer rule which was altered, I see the intent behind it but that s*** won't fly in the playoffs.
Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 An inning ago he said he was pitching well when it was clear he wasn't. That's all Ignore him, he is just looking at an excuse to whine about someones posts.
IBTrini Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 I'm pretty sure it has happened a bunch of times this season, it's called the neighbourhood play or something, IIRC it can't be reviewed. Where was the neighbourhood play?
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 You can't overturn that! It's like impossible to see where it crossed.
Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 You realize you're whining more than anyone lmao whining about people whining, doesn't get any sadder then that.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 How is this s*** still pitching
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Yeah. I know it's early.....but we really need to get a BP arm up
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Does this count as an umpire's review?
