I would however trade an injured Shane Bieber for a huge bat, a rock solid young SP, and a serviceable old SP in a 30 team dynasty if I was all in this year

I have Spencer Howard and he's been quite the disappointment. I had to drop Alek Thomas last week and Baz is available and playing very well so far. How would you rank the 3?

 

Also, is Kristen Robinson out for good due to the arrest? Does anyone have an update of his status?

When it comes to players like Veen and Fransisco Alvarez, when would picking them up make sense? I think they may be a couple years away, but would love to have them on my team. I'm looking to avoid getting them until next year some time and pick them up. Not sure if that's a good strategy for players of that caliber that are years away.

Are you stashing on the roster or adding to a farm? If a stash on the roster, there must be other closer to majors guys avail?

 

If you have a farm, Alvarez should probably be added (he will be in AA ball by September), Veen a maybe depending on the number of teams and size of the farm.

I would not do that trade. IMO Larnach over Bart and Webb over Stripling when healthy.

What should I do with Trevor Bauer in a 14-team dynasty where I'm a top contender and starting pitching is my weakest point?

 

I can't move him to the DL or the minor league roster or anything so he's just eating up a roster spot and my guess is that he does so for the rest of the season. Should I trade him for whatever I can get? Or just bite the bullet and hang onto him?

He's a 3.50-4 FIP guy without sticky stuff so just trade him.

 

That's a good way to look at it. Despite the trouble he's in, if someone sees him as a perennial CY contender maybe I can get close to 3.50-4 FIP value for him anyway.

If you're being serious, imo it's probably a fair deal. It would depend on your situation and needs as to whether or not you should accept. There's a lot of risk in Martin. He could be Merrifield, or he could be a fantasy black hole.
