fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 So Gibby's matchup plan is to bring in a LOOGY to face righties? Seems legit
jayswin11 Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Why do I even bother watching anymore. See you all in April 2015.
wardhenke1 Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Remember folks, we're playing an 11-18 team. f*** me.
admin Site Manager Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 We have the worst like possible. Last year bullpen pretty solid, one of our last concerns. This year, bullpen terrible.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 why couldnt he make a play? why'd he dive?
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 Damn Lawrie! If he made that play that would have been a gem
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Rasmus is the worst cf in baseball....offensivley and defensively. ...time to bench his ass...thats two more runs he cost us with s*** defense
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 We have the worst like possible. Last year bullpen pretty solid, one of our last concerns. This year, bullpen terrible. Gibbons is a big part of it. Reluctant to go to the big 3 at times, and reluctant to use the rest of the BP at other times. Also his matchups are pretty retarded. With Delebar, Rogers, Redmond all available he goes with a LOOGY to face like 6 righties
Rotator Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Why won't he pull Loup? He's giving him way more rope than his supposed ace.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 Huh? What? I was stating an opinion lol
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Bullpen is clearly overworked but Gibby insists in making them go 4 innings every night even when our SP is doing just fine. Just brutal.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Gibbons giving AA a good old fashioned f*** you and the horse you rode in on, by leaving Redmond in the pen all inning. I think Gibbons has made his mind up that they can fire him if they want, he's not playing the s***** pitchers and doesn't care.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Do you think hes better suited to play LF? Not hitting 0.200, not sure defensively. He is just awful. Bad routes, bad positioning.....just bad. Its like someone stole the rasmus from last year
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 The "ace" gives up a lead off hit with a 4 run lead so he has to pull him and go to the pen and the guy he said was going to be available to close tonight. Then he lets him cough up the lead. And like the image says
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Did gibbons really leave loup in so he can pinch hit for him without wasting a pitcher?
Doc Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 What a good team we could have this year really we should be top of the division if not for this bullpen, it's always one thing nothing ever clicks all in one season.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 We almost won our first challenge there if they said he swung lol

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 Reyes looks too f***ing skinny One of the reasons why he is fragile!

Back in the heady days when we were regularly a .500+ ball club (f*** that seems like a long time ago now - thanks AA) I remember Gord Ash saying in an interview that if you were inconsistent, the truth was that you were simply not good enough. This team is just s***.
