Convo Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 I seriously doubt that was his intention lol. I didn't say it was, why the f*** would you imply something so stupid?
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 It sort of makes sense, because assuming both the runner and the ball arrive at the same it's almost like the runner beat the ball. It's 50/50 so I guess according to replay rules a call that close would always stand with the ump's original one. Well in reality, it's almost impossible to have a true tie, the probability is really low. But to truly be able to differentiate what happens first in those situations, you'd have yo be able to go down to milliseconds.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 Hes in other way Bautista mode right now. Lol did Melky slide short of the base?
Convo Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Read what you said idiot lol. No, YOU read what I said... dipshit LOL
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Hey that new baseball movie Million Dollar Arm about finding pitchers from India, wasn't it the Pirates that did that and brought over 2 kids?
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Nice inning...if only melky was a tad faster the inning could still be going.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Hey that new baseball movie Million Dollar Arm about finding pitchers from India, wasn't it the Pirates that did that and brought over 2 kids? I think you are correct.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 Don't think it would have mattered but yes it looked that way. Yeah... BUT it is funny!
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 It's early, no lead safe with this pitching staff.

wardhenke1 Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 This is actually funny - how many errors we will see in one game?

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 Make it 5-2 thank god Lawrie didn't throw it home Here comes Tabata
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 No. Both didn't make it higher than A Ball. http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=sa505588&position=P http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=sa505589&position=P Singh was still in Pirates camp in this year's spring training though, his dream just ended. The other guy though was turfed in 2010. Interesting though that the contest they participated in in India was called Million Dollar Arm, but the prize was only 100k. Their signing bonuses for Pittsburgh only totalled 8k between them...
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 Well only 2 runs ain't bad Time to make them back
Convo Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Dickey has no luck..........*sighs* Giving up epic amount of walks and homeruns will do that.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 I love the wonderbread commercials lol
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Ah, that makes sense. Was he injured all of 2013? Yes, not sure what injury though.
