fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 Man Palace better kick Liverpool's ass
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/2014/02/10/one-of-the-pittsburgh-pirates-2008-free-agent-signings-is-about-to-pay-off/ There ya go, was a shoulder problem. I guess he could still pitch this year and next if he wasn't released already. His MiLB.com page still shows him as active. http://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?sid=milb&t=p_pbp&pid=573653
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 European Football really. Yup!! If Liverpool lose to Palace it's going to end whatever hope they have left to win the BPL. If both Liverpool and City lose a game, Chelsea wins the league And if City win all their last 3 games they will win the league ugh

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 This is worse than basketball not going to lie. It's literally almost a 3 way tie going into the last 2/3 games of the season, how can you hate that???
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 I'm surprised that teams don't back Rasmus off the plate often. The dude literally hugs the plate
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 It's literally almost a 3 way tie going into the last 2/3 games of the season, how can you hate that??? Lol I'm just messing with you, I don't really watch club soccer (or football if you prefer), it just seemed like an odd place to post it.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 I'm surprised that teams don't back Rasmus off the plate often. The dude literally hugs the plate He hits pitches on the inside very well.

Oh hahaha . I only mentioned it because the ad for the Palace/Liverpool game came on between batters
Convo Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 I'm surprised that teams don't back Rasmus off the plate often. The dude literally hugs the plate He does that because he wants them to do that, he wants them to bring it in so he can crush it, but they know better.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 Making a mistake to Rasmus inside is not ideal. He hits pitches on the inside very well. I mean inside at his head/where he can't hit it lol
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 He does that because he wants them to do that, he wants them to bring it in so he can crush it, but they know better. His batting stance makes a big C at the inside of the plate, if you throw the ball really close to his ribs he'll back off lol
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 That's called attempted murder. Not directly at his head! Near his face, 'chin music' as they would say
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 Happ almost for hit in the head again lol
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 I really hope pitchers don't aim at players face hoping they miss slightly. Isn't that chin music though?? Pitchers do that all the time!
Convo Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 His batting stance makes a big C at the inside of the plate, if you throw the ball really close to his ribs he'll back off lol True
Convo Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 I really hope pitchers don't aim at players face hoping they miss slightly. Agreed.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 If a player thinks a pitcher was trying to hit them in the head they would rush out and try to punch them in the face. It doesn't happen very often. The highest you can go is letters on the jersey. Sometimes you get up and in tight by pure complete accident though and that's different. Ah I see That 4th ball is an example of a pitch I expected them to throw at Rasmus Dickey slam time?
Convo Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Up by 3 runs, sounds like a good number, just enough of a lead for our bullpen to give up
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Ah I see That 4th ball is an example of a pitch I expected them to throw at Rasmus Dickey slam time? Hit by pitches aren't exactly productive if your goal is that later in the game that one batter will back off.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 Up by 3 runs, sounds like a good number, just enough of a lead for our bullpen to give up Hopefully you're wrong!
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 Hit by pitches aren't exactly productive if your goal is that later in the game that one batter will back off. Thole didn't get hit did he? He got spun around though, which is what I've been trying to say lol
Convo Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Hopefully you're wrong! Agreed, happy to be wrong in this case.
