I think the thought was probably, Reyes will be back in a few days along with Janssen, so at that time they'll probably let two RP go anyway, bringing the team back in balance. So it's a few days with an extra RP, with Morrow and McGowan starting two of the next three, maybe that arm comes in handy. This is how the Blue Jays braintrust thinks.

 

When the time comes I bet we'll see Wagner optioned back to Buffalo and one of Redmond/Rogers DFA'd. I doubt they DFA Happ but man it would be nice if some other team wanted to take him and his salary on. Maybe Tampa Bay.... lol.

 

And on the CF thing, Kevin Pillar is playing like garbage in Buffalo and I think Gose is still firmly planted in the "developing" camp. I dunno.
