It's that time of year again. I'm going with Hutch providing the second most WAR in the rotation after Dickey and Melky leading the team in BA.

Roy Halladay pitches for the Jays this season, Dickey and Hutch both post ERA's under 3.5, 3 starters post > 200 innings, Lawrie is top 5 in WAR among 3rd baseman, Goins puts up 2 WAR, Lind hits over .300, and the mods force me to change my avatar to a dunce cap after the season when I get no predictions correct.

Dustin McGowan does make the rotation and throws 150 innings before his arm literally detaches in his delivery, whacking Dustin Pedroia in the head with the bloody stump.

Guess we were on the same page with our predictions.

Yeah but mine also has the gratifying image of Pedroia getting beaned by a bloody appendage.

Bautista, Encarnacion, and Rasmus combine for 110 HR.

Melky puts up 4 WAR.

If this happens, Jays make the playoffs. This is one prediction I am rooting for.

You forgot to mention that it then goes on to cost the Red Sox the division and the Jays sneak into the post season.

If Dustin actually CAN do that, he might just lead the staff in WAR

If this happens, AA has job security for the next decade because the Jays contend.

Bautista, Lawrie, Reyes, Rasmus all play 150 or more games this year. If this happens, this team contends. I don't believe it will happen but I sure hope it does especially given the problems with depth.

f*** depth, AA laughs at depth.

-Rasmus hits 35+ HR

-Dickey pitches 10+ complete games

-Tomo Ohka get called up during the season

-At least 5 different players start a game at 2b for the Jays this year

-At least different 13 pitchers start a game for the Jays

-Lind puts up an OBP above .290 v left handed pitching

What? I am fine with everything else, but this would be the most extreme of extreme.

Had to throw in something BOLD!!! LOL.

Though I do see it as possible but for like a game or two and then a DFA and another call up.

1.Bautista traded at dead line.

2.Dickey ERA over 5.00

3.Jays enter discussion with multiple clubs in deals that make sense to improve the roster.

Those aren't bold

-AA fired at the end of the season.

-Hutchison better (WAR) than JJ, Ubaldo and Ervin

Those two predictions kind of go against each other..lol. If hutch's WAR is better than jj, ubaldo and Ervin, then the firing of AA seems unlikely unless all 4 are terrible.

One bold prediction...Lind posts an .OPS north of .730 against Lefties.

Are you sure?

Dickey, Buehrle will be mediocre again; Morrow hurt; Redmond, Happ and Rogers are s***; McGowan is McGowan.

Hutchison is our best starter right now.

-Jacob Anderson hits over .310 for whatever minor league team he's on

-Jose Bautista hits 40 HR

-Melky puts up over 4 WAR

-Dickey posts and ERA under 3.8

-Hutchison posts an ERA under 4

-Lawrie plays well over a full season culminating in 3+ WAR

-Adam Lind hits .285+ with 25+ homers

E: -Kratz posts over 2 WAR not including framing

That could mean 5 WAR, not 3.

Yeah... Didn't he have 3 WAR in 2012 just based off his D?

2.5, and his D wasn't rated spectacularly by UZR that year. DRS thought he was much better though.

The good:

-Kratz hits well enough to take over the full time catcher role.

-Hutch solidifies his spot in this rotation for years to come.

-Lawrie has a break out year. (20+ HR's, .340 OBP)

-Rasmus has BIG walk year.

The bad:

-EE still has a good year, but declines a bit.

-Bautista hits DL again.

-Bullpen struggles a bit. Won't be a top tier pen like people thought.

-Gibbons butts heads with a player. Think a Hillenbrand part II.

83-79 season
