Brenner Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Sanchez facing a MLB lineup this should be interesting. Who is Brad Glenn?
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 So sick of ST.. only 1 more week..
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Navarro batting cleanup. Noice
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Izturis hurting himself would be helpful
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Frederick Alfred Porcello... FAP
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Sanchez 2 scoreless, BB, K 3-GB, 0-FB
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Sanchez 2 scoreless, BB, K 3-GB, 0-FB Wish this was on TV. I've never seen Sanchez throw a single pitch. Box score looks good!
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Sanchez is going to make this rotation. No way They're crazy but not THAT crazy
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Sanchez is going to make this rotation. That would be a mistake
CHRIS Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Sanchez is going to make this rotation. I think so too. His first inning and a third will be key.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 anyone else's audio just cut out?
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 AA's getting scouty whispers in his ear right now - "hey, it worked with Jose Fernandez..."
Brenner Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Oh my goodness... how has it come to this... who is better for the Dickey effect... Hutch or Sanchez?
kgm1 Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 It is good to see the kid pitching as well as he has this spring but he will go to AA and build up his innings . We have to hope we kept the right guy after all the deals so he has to make a big step this year and seems like he is ready to do that . Just have no idea what they will do with Happ if he doesn't start getting thru 5 innings . Can't send him down , sure he would gladly jump ship and go to where he wants to pitch somewhere in the NL . Maybe he goes to the BP as long man till he gets it together . Faking a DL stint would be the best .

TDotttt2005 Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 So sick of ST.. only 1 more week.. I'm not. When its over, we can't say "these games dont mean anything" when our starters suck and we lose.
kgm1 Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Long/swing man will likely be Mcgowen or Rogers who ever does not get them 5th spot. So what do we do with Happ?
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 So what do we do with Happ? Burlap sack and a river???
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 And they both struggled/got hurt.
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 So what do we do with Happ? Take a long drive out to the country, throw some cookies in the ditch, push him out the door, and then drive away all teary eyed?
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Because rushing Alvarez, Hutch, and Nolin to the big leagues worked out so well for the Blue Jays, eh Mike?

I am suddenly TOO optimistic about our starters for this year Hutch looks great Sanchez still walks more than he should but his stuff might be so hard to hit that maybe he can compensate for it I still believe in Stroman big time despite a few bad outings Someone please burst my bubble before I start booking off travel time for October playoff games
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Not to defend the idea more than it deserves, but I am fairly certain Hutch would have gotten hurt needed TJS even if he'd been pitching in the minors...
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Big bomb for Lawrie, hopefully that teaches Gose a lesson in baserunning that he so dearly needs.

Absolutely. BUT - he would have gotten hurt and rehabbed and all that without having started his MLB clock.
