Crushed. The ball left the ballpark with the aid of some pretty strong winds

Good to hear he smacked one out. The rest is detail but I hope he's healthy.

As always, I'm going to wait a few weeks before starting to really judge anyone...

But when pitchers with a history of s*** control (Drabek, Romero) or inadequate stuff (Happ) come out and look like the same old s***** pitchers right at the start of ST, it's awfully hard to let yourself think there's any chance they're going to impress the team and deserve a rotation spot by April

early struggles for Drabek are probably a good thing. He has to learn to deal with adversity and not let his emotions get the best of him. He loses concentration and focus when he let's his emotions get in the way of his natural talent. At least drabek had a strike out and only gave up one hit and one earned in one and 2 thirds. Gold star for Wagner for his 3ks today. Happ should be wary of the hutch and the stro....they are coming for his job.

Do they test for Marryjuanna in MLB? Seriously, Kyle and Ricky need to get over their mental s*** and get their minds out of the way of their natural talent.

Not a banned substance in MLB

Is a banned substance in MiLB

Silly that there's a difference

Can we just cross DraBBek off as part of our depth? The guy is a disaster. AA is a fool for going into the season with so few quality arms, and so few quality arms to replace them.

They still test for it, don't they? Don't players get sent into some kind of rehab or counseling though instead of suspension?

Huh. Sweet.

Seriously though, those two need to get stoned before they throw, it would calm their pussy jitters. They're overthinking s***, letting their anxiety and fear of failure lead them to trying to aim their pitches instead of just letting 'er rip.

Spring training results assuredly mean very little - if anything, but I can't help but think about how much better a running start out of the gate would bode for this team's playoff hopes. Would love to see Edwin have a 2012 April and Jose a 2011 April.

Yes, happened to Chris Perez last year:

"Under the drug agreement between Major League Baseball and its players' association, marijuana offenses generally result with the player undergoing a treatment program rather than discipline.

Perez is participating in the treatment program and is subject to regular drug tests, defense attorney Terry Gilbert told The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer."
