jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 WHY THE f*** IS GILLESPIE STILL A THING?! I thought we activated Reimold?! If he isn't here yet or isn't ready yet, why aren't they playing Gose while Bautista is at 1B? That's yesterday's lineup. Here's the correct one. Reyes-SS Kawasaki-2B Cabrera-LF Bautista-1B Lind-DH Navarro-C Rasmus-CF Reimold-RF Francisco-3B Happ-P Don't like the idea of Reimold in RF...
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 Deleted my previous post because Blue Jays official fails and for whatever reason, they bumped the lineup from yesterday. Here's today's lineup: Excited to see Reimold.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 That's yesterday's lineup. Here's the correct one. Yeah, I fixed it, as you can see in the new tweet I posted though, the Blue Jays Official twitter fails. I have no idea why, but they've bumped yesterday's lineup and attached it to the tweet for today. Stupid. Also, why is Navarro in the middle of the order?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 Yeah, I fixed it, as you can see in the new tweet I posted though, the Blue Jays Official twitter fails. John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 Kawasaki batting second... Excellent for the Angels.
Nox Verified Member Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 I'd post this in the GDT, but since there isn't one yet: Intangiburrs. We're gonna get swept by the Angels, aren't we? Has there been a Mark DeRosa sighting to anybody's knowledge? What about gritty leader Omar Vizquel?
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 Has there been a Mark DeRosa sighting to anybody's knowledge? What about gritty leader Omar Vizquel? Kawasaki probably just leading the team in weird stretching exercises.
Nox Verified Member Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 I didn't mind it the other day, but against a righty it's silly since Lind and Rasmus get pushed way back. They should bat him ninth and move everyone up. A .280 wOBA guy should never bat 2nd. Ever.
Nox Verified Member Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 Kawasaki probably just leading the team in weird stretching exercises. Racist.

TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 The same pitcher and date: July 6 didn't tip you off? No. I didn't follow yesterday's game closely, so I didn't remember who pitched, and I didn't check the date on the tweet, seeing as how it said "1 new tweet" at the top of my page, I clicked the button, and that lineup popped out.
Nox Verified Member Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 "Managers have to play their hunches. That's how managers make a difference and Blah blah blah....average and clutchness... yadda yadda yadda.... RBIs". Harold Reynolds FTFY Joe Morgan is so 2004.
Nox Verified Member Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 Not sure why he decided to get Kawasaki in there. Panic is a hell of a drug.

John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 f***ing Cruz just took Strasburg Oppo for a two run shot.... Wtf is Cruz on this year? Gets busted for drugs then comes back the next year and hits with even more power?

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 On the other side, watching Strasburg's stuff, you rightfully could wonder how someone could ever actually get a well hit ball off the guy.

Convo Verified Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Naturally O's are winning vs Strasburg and Tillman is pitching a gem (wtf!!)
Nox Verified Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Mvp thus far We'll have to wait for the judges' official decision, but that might be an account deleter.
bzapple Verified Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 We'll have to wait for the judges' official decision, but that might be an account deleter. Let's give him a chance to edit that to "Orioles MVP thus far"

TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Red Sox are down 4-0 vs CWS in the 7th. Yankees up 5-3 on the Twins in the 8th. Tampa down 6-0 in the bottom of the 9th. Nationals and Orioles tied 2-2 in the Top of the 10th. http://i.gyazo.com/31a6de2ef33f2cf1609a4132f63c2c56.png
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 How did no one mention that Rendon tied the game in the sixth with a two-run shot? 2-2 in the 10th.
Comx Verified Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 James Shields owned the Rays tonight (and won me some big $$), win win.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Corey Dickerson is pretty bad in the field. Watching the Rockies game right now, and he missed two catchable baseballs. The first one was tougher and understandable to miss, though the second one was awful. Takes bad routes. 2 ER now charged to Tyler Matzek who I'm starting in the DDL tonight ugh!!! Damn you Dickerson.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 James Shields owned the Rays tonight (and won me some big $$), win win. Sweet
