As the Orioles await word on whether Major League Baseball will suspend Manny Machado, they face their own pressing decision on the struggling third baseman.

 

Should they demote Machado to the minors?

 

“That’s always an option,” general manager Dan Duquette told FOX Sports on Tuesday. “The guy distinguished himself in the big leagues last year. We’d much rather see him develop his skills here. But that’s always an option.”

He's butthurt because generally he gets s*** on here as some hipster loser who is no more knowledgeable than some of the middle of the road posters. Luckily for him, he just got to ride the coattails of two funny writers in Parkes and Bergkamp to develop his own little fandom.

 

It's funny though, if this place is so awful (even though there is a 100% chance we have more knowledge about the inner workings of the Jays) he apparently keeps coming here. Why? If this place is so stupid and awful and worthy of his vitriol, why not just ignore it?

 

s*** man, we play fantasy ball with the guy who created TIPS so I don't really give a s*** about what Stoeten has to say...which is why I don't read his site or listen to his podcasts.

So I guess Manny Machado will be suspended for five games and fined. Five seems like quite a bit. but It's probably deserved.

Stoenten's opinion has as much value as anyone else's here - s***. He's not a scout, he's a fan of the game. Why do we put him on a pedestal? He's just a dishiveled, bitter man pretending to be a baseball fan.

 

On an MLB note, Machado is going to get 5 games and is planning on appealing.

 

Which makes you question on what grounds he is appealing on. Just shows that his 'apology' was not of heart.

I actually really like his writing and analysis, he actually seems to know things other than making reactionary blog posts and inventing creative swear words. Too bad he doesn't like this place but I guess he's new to the internet if he thinks a public message board is going to function like a roundtable on the MLB Network.

Fairservice is actually pretty hilarious, the quote I wrote down takes a lot away from the tone in which he said that stuff. He's not as big a douche as he came off in that.

 

And he's the guy that runs TheScore's "Getting Blanked" blog, the way Stoeten runs DJF.
