Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Bauer beat Verlander Verlander isn't top-3 anymore (6IP, 3Walks, 2 K's)
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 And Hammel is ACTUALLY beating Tanaka right now, as the Cubs lead 4-1.
S33n Verified Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 On another note, Chris Davis is back for the Orioles. Wow
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Good thing Detroit still has Porcello, Scherzer and Anibal Sanchez, along with Drew Smyly.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Verlander hasn't looked very Verlander-like this year. That 4.53 xFIP is gross, and his fastball velo is down 3 mph from his peak to go with a drop in swinging strikes. Not to worry, they're only paying him28 million per year until 2020. Lots of room for value....
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Good thing Detroit still has Porcello, Scherzer and Anibal Sanchez, along with Drew Smyly. Yeah they're stacked. One #1 in Scerzer and three #2s. Looks like New York and Tampa are going to lose tonight (as well as Boston)! Great day for the Blue Jays, eh? Robbie Ray is good
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 11,369 at Tampa tonight. Surprised we didn't see a 4 digit number tonight there, especially with the A's playing. Yankees bullpen is melting down vs. the Cubs right now..
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Ellsbury looking like a bust so far He will probably have good #'s at the end, but who expected him to only have 1HR in that park at this point?

He's probably far too concerned over global warning and climate change to be focused on baseball.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Miguel Olivo's career might end over this, this has crazy person written all over
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 People don't forget these things.. especially teammates.

John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 http://tetonist.files.wordpress.com/2014/02/climatology_dees.jpg I like his suit. Green is the new black.

He's over 30 and how many times did Leyland let him go 130+?
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Iwakuma back to doing his thing, much needed for the mariners. I'm surprised morales isn't back with the mariners
flafson Verified Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 That Miguel Olivio thing seems serious, they took the player right away to the hospital to reattach the ear. They said they actually saw part of the ear on the dugout floor.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Rays keep losing. I keep smiling.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Bauer nasty stuff 99 Mph fastball Vs Verlander 93 mph fasball for 28M by year
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Rays keep losing. I keep smiling. Claps and sheds a single tear of joy

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 I can't wait to bump the s*** out of this when the Rays finish ahead of the Jays this year. I'm not saying that the Jays will finish higher than the Rays... I just enjoy seeing you squirm a little sometimes ... But do you seriously think the Rays have the horses to get back into the race?
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 I can't wait to bump the s*** out of this when the Rays finish ahead of the Jays this year. Boys have your standards dropped.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 I can't wait to bump the s*** out of this when the Rays finish ahead of the Jays this year. Where you from BTS....you live in Tampa?
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 I don't know what team I hate the most in the AL East. It's so easy to hate the Yankees because of the payroll. The Red Sox have the most insufferable fans in the world. The Orioles fans have become so arrogant over the last few years with their mini-resurgence. Super irritating. I've always respected the Rays but have developed a new-found hatred because of the fans who have bailed on the Jays on here. Tough call. I kinda hope the Rays finish last just to watch the lulz.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 I don't see how anyone can criticize the Rays for putting out a weak lineup with their lack of resources.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Yankees lose. Jays now tied with the Yankees in the standings, and first place is within distance, depending on what Baltimore does.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 I don't see how anyone can criticize the Rays for putting out a weak lineup with their lack of resources. you can't....you can criticize posters for thinking they will still win with that crappy lineup because it says Rays on the front of their jersey....the rays have been decimated with injuries...they are done for this year. I still hate the sox and Yankees almost evenly...followed by the rays...and then the orioles....in a dream world the jays and orioles in the playoffs this year would be fun..
