G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Zach Wheeler looked like mid-season form today Woohoo!! That staff is going to be disgustingly good, d'Arnaud 2 for 2 also. As long as Niese is actually OK it should be
wilko Old-Timey Member Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Nothing wrong with some random ass stabbings from time to time.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Niese is throwing a side session during the game, he's okay. Plus, I'm talking about when Harvey gets back from TJS and Noah joins the club, they're all going apeshit about him during this broadcast, hah! Yeah it really could be special Of course the Mets will likely find some way to mess it up...
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 "Adding Price could have the same potential impact that bringing Pedro Martinez to the Red Sox in 1998 had. Pedro was 65-39 when the Red Sox traded for him, similar to Price's current career record of 71-39. Martinez had also won one Cy Young Award—exactly where Price currently stands as well. Price would be older, but there are a lot of similarities between the two pitchers." lol

Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 I don't know about you guys, but the Syndergaard hype has me rock hard. This is just your fantasy team fling. It's not true love. Whore.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 I love Syndergaard and was stunned like many others that AA would agree to give up the package he gave up. However, I think D'Arnaud is being overlooked a bit here. He's gonna be a heck of a player and needless to say, that trade is gonna haunt the Blue Jays big time.

The Mets are in a terrific position with D'Arnaud posed to be a battery mate to all that young pitching.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 D-Backs officially announced that Stryker Trahan is no longer a catcher. Probably good news for him as he can move up quicker
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 The Mets are in a terrific position with D'Arnaud posed to be a battery mate to all that young pitching. Yeah no doubt. It's really unfortunate that the Jays couldn't stomach another year of suckitude in 2013, the franchise would have a decent long term outlook.

Hochevar's looking at potential TJS.

Hochevar's looking at potential TJS. Just read that, sucks for Spanky who just drafted him. It would be nice if the Royals inquired on Santos or Janssen but at this point it's pretty obvious that AA would rather keep his relievers than move their salaries and bring in a Drew or Santana.
