NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Not only ages, but also awesomeness, I'm #1 No, by that logic you're #615! Woot! So our three youngest posters have contributed 14.0% of all posts lol. Incredible.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 My god you guys we've been over this. And 8,400 posts isn't enough to be considered frequent? lol I'm the stereotypical annoying teenager of every message board. Along with King and Fatcow of course

NOT AT ALL FREQUENT. I wonder who is the fourth-youngest.

GD Old-Timey Member Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Yah that's only 37 per day. NOT AT ALL FREQUENT. Sad thing is during the summer I was around 75 a day lol.

Along with King and Fatcow of course Ugh I can't wait until second semester.... (only Chem/Calc/English!) so I can go back to my old posting-spree-ass lol
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted December 16, 2013 Author Posted December 16, 2013 I imagine there is some inside the closet preteen posters around here. MohYou? Spanky? Can't be. Both have been posting for a looooong time (assuming MohYou is dogg)
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Sad thing is during the summer I was around 75 a day lol. On the old board I used to get up to 100 a day in some weeks. That was back when post count mattered and you were encouraged to spam your count up. Now I'm busier (i.e., not in HS like you guys) and also try to only post actual thoughts.

That was back when post count mattered and you were encouraged to spam your count up. Now I'm busier (i.e., not in HS like you guys) and also try to only post actual thoughts. This is me exactly. Back in the day (old forum) where ECJF was king for his 50k posts, I set out to beat everyone, and I did well (18K in one year ain't a joke). But now that this forum has less trolls, more quality and more moderation it seems that I have to actually and limit my posts (thanking people with the same opinion instead of restating it, commenting every second pitch on the GDT, editing my post to add more info, etc.)
GD Old-Timey Member Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Ugh I can't wait until second semester.... Yeah I've gotten better at actually making thoughtful posts instead of volume posting.

These little guys don't reduce the level of the conversations that take place in this forum. They absorb like sponges.
GeorgiaPeach Verified Member Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 That was more of a hack at Spankys immaturity, lol Being immature is way better than pretending to be something you're not or don't want or need to be.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Being immature is way better than pretending to be something you're not or don't want or need to be. So, in essence, King > Cooler Heads Prevail. Agreed.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 I like Spanky! Good guy man, that was just jokes Spank is my favourite poster. The dude is legit and his lexicon is surprisingly extensive.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Can't be. Both have been posting for a looooong time (assuming MohYou is dogg) MohYou is Zee. I've never bought the concept that Zee and Dogg were the same person. I honestly believe that Moh is South Asian...and Dogg is East Asian.
flafson Verified Member Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 I learned a couple of things: 1) You guys are really young. 2) The HS system in Ontario sound stupid.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 2) The HS system in Ontario sound stupid. You have no idea.
flafson Verified Member Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 You have no idea. I know i don't. Only thing i do know, people who come from HS to university get a serious shock about the difference in difficulty. My professor told us that the first year students are doing so bad that the faculty is adjusting the courses so more people manage to pass them. One of the things they do, they give marks for showing up in class, how stupid is that? Never mind though, off topic.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 So... Stephen Drew anyone? You'd probably have to pay him somewhere between Infante's 4/$40 and Phillips' 4/$50, but signing Drew and sliding Reyes over to 2B might net us a win in itself. Edit: Nvm, Boras. No way he gets that kind of money; at least I would be incredibly surprised if he did. He's tied to draft-pick compensation.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Right Dogg is Robert he is south korean He is pretty cool now not messed up. We even have a few beers at hoops now and then bc of half priced wings You guys should join us Lol you f***ing loser Mohyou = Dogg = Zee = jaysnhabs

In my school, the tutorial is worth around 10% of the final mark. And people still never show up. I would love to answer any other questions you have about the school system. Ask away!

I actually found that first term at university wasn't too different from HS in terms of difficulty (well, physics was taught a little different since the HS courses used no calculus). The second term though, THAT was a shock.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 The second term though, THAT was a shock. Thank f***ing jeebus I have absolutely no intention whatsoever to go into any physics-resembling program.
flafson Verified Member Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Thank f***ing jeebus I have absolutely no intention whatsoever to go into any physics-resembling program. You don't always have a choice, depending on your program they may force you to take some physics courses. If your degree falls under "science" then they will likely force you to take either physics or biology or chemistry courses. If it doesn't, they will force you to take some boring courses like "law and morality".
kcjaysfan Verified Member Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Everyone should take a physics course in university, regardless of your degree. It's good for you.
