LeafsJays Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 I'd like to see Lincoln again. Give him a chance at starting. Worried about losing revenue when they come back home so calling up Kawasaki
LeafsJays Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Kidding...I hope. But I think Happ's rehab is done on Aug 11 so he probably gets brought back up. Kinda unfair to toss Redmond back down this early but its business i guess
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 What has Redmond done wrong? Poor AA retard... trying to make himself feel useful by making pointless moves with the little control he has left over this team... what a dumb s***.
SantosLHalper21 Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Lincoln it is...I think Happ may be called up for Wagner or Perez soon though. @TSNScottyMac: #BlueJays option RHP Todd Redmond to Buffalo. Recall RHP Brad Lincoln from Buffalo. #MLB
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 It'll probably be Gose, then Wagner going back down and someone like Stroman coming up in a few days (just my best guess). Or not
HFTCycle Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 It'll probably be Gose, then Wagner going back down and someone like Stroman coming up in a few days (just my best guess). Or not This year has been a complete circus act and with the "Ringmaster" in AA making this season into a merry-go-round ride... Again...if I had a kid and was drafted by the Jays out of highschool...no way would I advise him to sign with this organization. AA will be gone AFTER ANOTHER FUTILE YEAR IN 2014!
Howard Roark Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 I don't see why people are still talking about Happ, he's f***ing trash. Let him star at Buffalo, and in helping the Bisons be competitive, encourage them to extend their affiliation agreement with us beyond next season, hopefully for an extended term. That is the biggest help he could possibly be for the Jays.
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Happ has done ok in the 70 or so innings he's had with the Jays...well better than a couple of pitchers currently occupying SP slots for this team.
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Unless its the Yankees. It would be stupid for Buffalo to affiliate themselves with anybody else. Buffalo knows it's place in the world as being Toronto's bitch. We help keep their NFL team where it is by being half the crowd and when we crash our cars there we help keep their vibrant lawyer industry alive (the only industry they have there apparently). The Bisons are going nowhere.

Sparky12 Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Man I hope it's Stroman, would give me a reason to watch!

Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Man I hope it's Stroman, would give me a reason to watch! Linconl or Happ

theblujay Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 So we have a 9 man bullpen now?
DuckDuckGose Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Stroman? Happ? Looks like it's going to be Lincoln for the next few days to add another arm to the BP. It seems like they will need a SP to come up for a spot start before Happ is ready to return. IMO it's going ti be a guy they Jays have already burned an option on (makes more sense than burning an option for one start). My money is on Nolin coming up but, I could see Stroman also getting the call. Sucks that Dusty just went on the DL, perfect chance to give him a start.
DuckDuckGose Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 So we have a 9 man bullpen now? Need the extra arm when your rotation goes back-to-back days without making it to the 4th.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Two starters in a row couldn't get past the 4th inning, they had to make this move, pretty f***ing obvious. It's amazing how stupid some people are for dumping on AA for a pretty obvious move.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 It's amazing how stupid some people are for dumping on AA for a pretty obvious move. I'd say the guy with the dual personalities on an internet message board is pretty damn stupid.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Two starters in a row couldn't get past the 4th inning, they had to make this move, pretty f***ing obvious. Wait so let me get this straight... because he made a bad start after another pitcher made a bad start he gets penalized for it? That's good baseball logic right there.
Howard Roark Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Maybe because the rest of our rotation is trash as well and Happ was actually our #1 or #2 starter before he went down? He was no better than the rest of them at the time he went down, not sure where you're getting that idea.

That's good baseball logic right there. He has options and the BP is taxed. Send him down for the BP help they need right now and call him back up in 10 days or whenever they need him after that.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 There's also an off day on Thursday But 5 games before then. So who starts on Wednesday??
admin Site Manager Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Wandy Rodriguez who we should have had, but this f***ing organization didn't want to spend a dime a year earlier, has another mid 3 ERA. 4.03xFIP. He would have been perfect for the back end of our rotation.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Wandy went for Robbie Grossman. I know he's been pretty horrifying this year but wasn't he at least pretty well regarded when he was traded?
Sparky12 Verified Member Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 So is this just bullpen help for now with someone getting sent down and a starter up when Redmond was scheduled to start next?
admin Site Manager Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 We probably could of had Rodriguez cheaper than Happ as well. They really just wanted to move his salary. The only player I think we will miss in the Happ trade is Wojo though. Yep. FO really messed that up. Can't say AA specifically, because I think it might have had to do with the money involved.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 He has options Moron!!! And FFS we're talking about freaking Redmond!
