o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Seems quite possible, even likely. JPA is a pretty big ignoramus, though, so it's far from a sure thing. Also, wtf is up with bolding that whole post? forgot to end the bold session.... lol JPA has actually looked like he is trying to make changes the last few days. he's more serious than I have seen him in a while. if he finally realizes he needs to get better, there is a chance that he could be a little better going forward. getting his spirit broken is probably what he needed for his own sake.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 "The adulation as well as the defecation" -o2cu2etc. Wtf? Lol players cant get off on stupid fans praising them or s***ing on them. they are still stupid fans that dont know anything. JPA feeds off little girls and handicap kids telling him he's great at baseball, but cant take when other fans tell him he's bad. as o pro he cant let either effect him. problem is that the knowledgeable fans/commentators around baseball have gotten into the fray and I think that's what finally got to JPA.

What about talent? Without talent the progress will be minimal.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Because Hayhurst is such a stirrer of the pot that he'd directly refer to JPA as a "dumb, brutish animal" right? Especially after taking the high road this whole time and making this whole article about the defense of JP. Use some common sense. Nothing direct about it.

Yeah I got the gist of what you were aiming for, that phrase just tickled my funny bone. "The adulation and the defecation". Poetic, man. I'm going to use that IRL first chance I get . lol

ace3113 Verified Member Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 I didn't completely misread it, I think the bulk of it was a defence of JPA (from the much, much bigger man), but I do think that line in particular was a shot at JPA's attacks on Zaun and Hayhurst. It also says JP Arencibia versus Socrates which would seem to preclude JP from being cast in the role of Socrates for these purposes.

Howard Roark Verified Member Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 I think the one indisputable fact that we have all gleaned from this thread is that every single person on this planet of Greek descent is a degenerate sheep-f***er for whom the only cure is immediate castration.
Caper Verified Member Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 To bad JPA didn't play last night. Shity pitching he would have ate for lunch.
KSaw Verified Member Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 JPA becoming a non-tender candidate. They can keep trying to play him into having trade value I suppose...
