Yea there's no such thing as overpaying for star players in their prime in the NBA. 4 years, give him the max and be done with it.

Thanks to Sacramento they can afford it no problem. He is the heart and soul of the team, not replaceable IMO.

Agreed, I didn't love the TO's at first, but you can live with them given the rest of his overall play. He's been a huge contributor in these playoffs, and has proven effective when Lowry was banged up a needed a rest. Great trade.

I know people hate talking about "intangibles", but Vasquez keeps the confidence of this team sky high when they get down. He's a leader and gives it his all on every play.

You keep the core together and then go for Durant in 2 years. Keep Amir and PP (re-sign for 3 years) and then Amir walks after next year and Durant slides in at the 4 with PP.
