Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 Geez... get em at home. At least 2 of next 3 are at home if necessary.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 Raps crumbled down the stretch. Delon not contesting Wall's layup was infuriating.
43211234 Verified Member Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 Absolutely pathetic. Went back to the moronic DeRozan iso and got crushed at the end.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 Ugliest 35 point performance I've ever seen.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 Not the refs fault at all It's always the refs fault.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 Fitting end. We've gotta stop turning over the ball.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 how does this happen every playoffs lol
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 I know it's easy to pile on now after 2 straight losses to the Wizards, and the Raps should still win this series.... but it's the same old story. Demar isn't the guy. They will not win a championship with him as "the man"

Demar isn't the guy. They will not win a championship with him as "the man" Lack of playoff performers. Could be the Leafs problem too... But they're a much younger team so it could still happen for them.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 Ibaka was god awful too. Ibaka couldn't grab a rebound and lost the ball so many times. Geez big difference from Game 1 & 2.

But they're a much younger team so it could still happen for them. I don't think it's "playoff performer" issue. Demar just isn't the type of generational talent you need to win in the NBA today. He's be a great #2 or 3 option though.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 Raps getting out rebounded 37-18. This is not a recipe for success.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 Went on a late run and got it done. Finish them in Washington. I don't want this going 7.

Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 These games shouldn't even be close... Our bench, which has been a huge advantage during the regular season, has been generally useless in the playoffs.
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 The turnovers are insane. Ibaka and DeRozan just can’t even hold onto the ball. DeRozan’s decision making has been a big issue. The refs tonight were.... bizarre.
Stoneyen Verified Member Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 Our bench, which has been a huge advantage during the regular season, has been generally useless in the playoffs. Delon has been enormous, but otherwise yeah the bench has been useless. CJ Miles cannot hit a timely 3 for the life of him and Siakam and Poeltl have looked lost. JV was absolutely massive in the 4th today I wonder if he’ll finally play more in the 4th while Poeltl is playing like s***. We’ve really gotta stop the bone headed turnovers (@Ibaka @Derozan) to stop their transition looks which are killing us.

Every time we started to get momentum, a weird call seemed to take it away. Really nice job in the 4th pulling out the win.

jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 JV needs to absolutely play more. They need to just stick Delon on Wall and go under screens..stop switching when JV is guarding the player setting the pick. Powell needs to be bainished somewhere far away where he cant hurt the team.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 Our bench, which has been a huge advantage during the regular season, has been generally useless in the playoffs. Their most important bench player is out so that's not surprising.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 It should be noted that CJ Miles has been playing like s*** too. He has one job and that's to knock down 3 pointers, and he hasn't been doing that this series which has hurt us many times. JV and Delon were game changers last night on both ends of the floor. I don't think Poeltl has been bad but JV should certainly be getting crunch time minutes over Serge "butter fingers" Ibaka.
43211234 Verified Member Posted April 28, 2018 Posted April 28, 2018 It seems to be impossible for Poetl to come within 5 feet of Wall without a foul being called.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2018 Posted April 28, 2018 Raptor's got this! Wooo! Yeah they finally woke up in the 4th and started moving
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2018 Posted April 28, 2018 Great coaching decision by Casey to run the bench during the first half of the fourth quarter and then go with the starters when Washington's gassed.... ....but that's not a strategy that's going to work as the Raptors get deeper into the playoffs.
