GD Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Isiaiah Thomas is ridiculously good. He is so fun to watch. Lmao at how many teams passed over him in his short NBA career. He could be the MVP this year. IT is one of the worst defenders in the league. He is nowhere near the most valuable player in the league.

He's definitely going to get MVP votes. He leads the league in offensive win shares. Anyways, fantastic effort from Tucker. He essentially provided what we were expecting Carroll to provide.

When they were all on the floor it was actually nice watching their switches and helps rather than seeing defensive shitshows.

Granted a very important game...but let's see if they can build off of this for a few in a row or will they revert back to their swiss cheese defensive schemes.

It was so nice to see Cory lock down IT after he was whining and carrying on. 1-6 in the 4th quarter from mr clutch. Pretty great win without the teams best player with two players on their first game. Ibaka shut down the PnR the Celts love to run through Horford, hopefully that level of back end defense continues
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 Anyone else like the Raptors -5.5 tonight vs Portland? Going to put some money on it.

I hope this locks down the defense. Really hated seeing DD dribble for the first 15 seconds of every play. Once he was off the floor and the team started passing things got better. Need KL back

Need KL back I dunno how you can whine about DD from Friday night. Sure, it's not the most aesthetically pleasing basketball, but he was a bad motherf***er on Friday.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Kyle Lowry is set to undergo wrist surgery to remove loose bodies from his right wrist, and he's aiming to return for the playoffs. --- RIP season

They'll make the playoffs, but can they stay ahead of Washington and Atlanta?
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Delon Wright's breakout incoming.
Caper Verified Member Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 I feel Corey Joseph still has more potential to show. This might be his time.
Caper Verified Member Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 But even if Lowry is ready for the playoffs, his shooting won't be the same, he's effectively done for the season.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Raptors, Golden State on the ML and Golden State/76ers under 228 points is my ticket. I'm really going out on a limb with my GS pick.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Lowry always goes down when we need him the most lol. He was terrible in last year's playoffs because he had an elbow injury and his shooting was terrible for most games.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Delon Wright's breakout incoming. My thought exactly. Wright is a stud. This is his shot. I don't want to see them signing Jennings or Rose (who sounds like he's goijg to be waived). Stick with Cojo and Wright. Split the minutes down the middle
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Delon's going to be stud once he devlops a shot. If Lowry doesnt come back healthy they'll probably be swept by Cleveland
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Yeah, they're in trouble.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 One thing the Raps seem to be doing very well since Lowry went down is moving the ball better again, and actually running plays for other guys more often. That almost certainly happens anyway with more options on the floor now (ie, Lowry probably isn't at fault for that before), but it's absolutely critical to success.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Waaaaaaaaay too many mid range jumpers tonight. It's like the Raps figure you can't score unless you shoot from 15 - 20 feet...
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 1st half was an offensive shitshow. Complete garbage. 2nd half they need to get it together or they'll be run out of the building
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Lol, that was awesome by Patterson. Trips running backwards and falls, knocks the ball away while on his back.
TRM Verified Member Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 This might be the worst game of the Raptors season and somehow they are still very in this because the Knicks are the biggest tire fire in sports.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 They'll take charge here, right?
TRM Verified Member Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 The Raps are getting mauled on the boards and there's no one who can guard JV on the inside. But let's just leave JV on the bench for the last 18 minutes of the f***ing game, Casey. You f***ing clown.
TRM Verified Member Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Pick and Roll with Serge is nice
